Only a few of the altcoins in the market will be used in the real world and most of them will be used as a tool to create opportunities and money by trading them. Let's face it, most of the altcoins are just created by their developers to get cash from the investors and in the long term, they will just abandon it. So it is better to trade them than to invest in them for long term.

Those people that are holding a lot of altcoins keep proposing that we are going to see a future in which there are going to be hundreds of coins used by everyone, but that is not really practical, we cannot really ask from people to accept hundreds of different coins and know the value of each one of them.

Most likely what we are going to see is a bitcoin that is even more dominant with an even larger share of the market and only a few other altcoins are going to be used by the rest of the people that have characteristics that bitcoin could simply not implement.

No doubt some altcoins will be used in the real world. But such will most likely be no more than 5% of all currently existing alternative cryptocurrencies. The reality is that most altcoins are created just for fundraising. I think the first 10-20 altcoins by capitalization will eventually find application in the real world.

The only place I think altcoins has a future in is gambling, normal gambling but first and foremost e-betting.I can not see how it will take over  from normal currency's in the world of buying or selling any other goods then btc. The main reason I think this is that nobody wants to be that guy that bought two pizzas for 10000 btc 5 years from now, so i cant really see what else it has a real future in. But that is only my opinion, What do you guys think?

Maybe those altcoins can use also to buy goods in the future like ether no can one say about the future of ether because we know that this coins have potentials and have a market. So maybe not only in gambling we can used some altcoins we can use it also for online buying. That is my thought about some altcoins.

As a trader we are aiming to have a profit but not all the time we got some income, before making our trade first we must to consider what kind of trading method we will use, for now, we have two types of trading the short and long term trading, in long term trading the best coin suits for this investment is the bitcoin even the price of the coin fall every time, but it is a good investment in the future, the amount of the bitcoin before is not profitable, but it takes a long time the price goes, and it is suited for long term, in short term trading bitcoin is not suitable for this transaction because it's too long before you earn so the altcoin is suitable for this kind of purchase, this coin is volatile also, but unlike the bitcoin, it does not change a lot of value.

Totally agree! You will not run out of list even talking their current usage either in payment sector, gambling or in financial sector. And everyday, more and more industries are integrating crypto as their payment method and so the rise of their respective tokens or alts to serve that purpose. So in the future, the chance of using alts or btc in other industries is very high. Those that are not yet explored today will be added in the list in the very near future.

If you surf more, there are 5 Major Altcoins Already Seeing Real-World Adoption. Also for the top altcoin in the market it's impossible to fall because there are a demands.

The opportunity to increase future wealth? It's highly chance possible as long as you know how to growth it.

All are accepting your point, But reality everyone see the spam projects in crypto market. So I think all are carefully see the total liquidity and marketcap in crypto market. I don't see any promises in this forum and most spam threads are create the fake news. Altcoins is the need for every investors so it will always survive in the world.

Altcoins have free ground for anyone to introduce their own coins and this is why people are always doing experiments by launching their own crypto currencies. What I personally believe is that 80 percent we have trash in the altcoin sector and 20 percent are the coins which are serving the market well with leading coin as ethereum. These are simply going to have real life uses in coming years.

Altcoin and bitcoin become used at the future as payment currency transaction if have higher price, but when bitcoin or altcoin keep with lower price impossible become currency payment at the future and not other company interested adopt bitcoin and altcoin as legal currency payment, to get accepted with many countries and company bitcoin need raised up to higher price before.

The price of bitcoin in the middle of the year is just stable there are no so many worries because the price is only nine thousand dollars and the tragedy in the price cames on the end of the November in 2019 the price falls slowly. Some people are just ignoring, the price of the coin is volatile so you cannot see is this a change or dumping; most of the investors pulled out their money to becomes more safe. When the price goes down, many people now are hoping for a long term investment, and some of them are deciding the use of altcoins. The amount of the coins are profitable too not the bitcoin, but still, you can get a profit, the altcoin trading is suited for short term trading the price does not change too much. By these, you can earn income while waiting for the bitcoin also.

With new coin have lower price and scam lower under ICOs or IEO time make bad image for altcoin and not have chance for the future altcoin become partner or payment currency for company and government, many gambling site only use altcoin as their partner and there are not have chance for altcoin become legal currency payment for company project because altcoin looks with lower price always.

Really too bad that most of the investors, bounty hunters, traders got tired of checking the new coins/tokens, and they are not interested anymore thinking they are just all scam, but still at the end of the day we are thankful that crypto masses continue to increase and the adoption is constantly growing.

I think the main use of altcoins is going to be similar to what we see now, I do not expect them to actually be used as currencies they will be used as a way to speculate in an unregulated market, this may not seem like much but it has a great advantage over the rest of the markets that are full of regulations.

But when it comes to actually be used as currencies you can forget about that, people are not going to accept a bunch of useless altcoins when they will prefer to accept the only coin they know will have a value no matter what happens and that coin is bitcoin.
