Yes thank you. Active and alive. Hashing. On the home dashboard it does say there is some hardware error percentage tho

great! glad I was able to help! well, all I did was point to their page really - but at least you are up and going! yea there will be some hardware errors - that is not avoidable. what mode are you running?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

what mode are you running?
Thanks again for your assistance!! Good to know about the hardware errors. It said %1 when I checked last not as bad as some issues I was reading deep  in this thread

I have it on balanced right now while I am paying attention to it. i Will set it to eco normally I am thinking. What do you suggest tho with no hardware mods? I have it sitting in a cool temperature place on a small metal filing cabinet. It’s in an Open area with a helium hotspot close to a door window.

mine sits on my desk in my living room and I run in eco mode as it is the quietest and my house is normally around 72 F. I have had zero issues outside of needing to reflash the sd card once.

how do these keep your basement warm? mine do not generate any heat whatsoever - the fan barely even comes on.

No offense John  Smiley. They generate a little heat but not much. With three Apollos and two GekkoScience Terminus R606 it helps take the chill off. All running off a single APW3+. All in all very efficient miners.

BTW just realized anyone on Amazon can post a review even if they have not bought it from there. Just listed the Apollo there so if anyone has an Amazon account would appreciate some genuine reviews there (FYI I'm not soliciting 5 star reviews, please post your honest impressions).

Run into a issue yesterday and can't seem to figure out the problem.

I can't seem to get access to the Dashboard on my desktop. I can get to it on my phone but not my desktop. Now until today it was still mining the litecoinpool just fine, as I never disconnected. But I figured I would try to reflash the image and see if that helped. It did not. I can still access the dashboard from my phone but not view any computer in my house for some reason. Any thoughts?

What kind of error are you getting on your desktop? Since the phone is connecting to the miner then its connected to your network. I'd try clearing the cache on your desktop. Is your desktop also connecting wireless like your phone? Try to open a private session (chrome) and connect. Maybe your anti-virus is blocking you?

Also, if you are using futurebit.local that could be the issue. Most smartphones can route .local hostname, but windows for example can't unless you have installed services that resolve them. You will need to get the local IP address if that's the case for your desktop.

Still trying to figure out the optimal balance between mining efficiently and running the full node without it crashing the unit every few days. If i knew this was going to give me this much trouble I would have used a controller with way more ram.  Undecided

Is it possible to upgrade the ram to help roll out the full node? I'd be willing to help.

Hi stefanop:

Please consider to release a new software version without full node features. Sure you have a lot of small improvements not released.

Full node software is a big feature. We can wait a few more weeks.

Think about a christmas present for us  Wink.

jstefanop, Have you tried using zRAM to help solve this problem? I've heard it works well in situations where RAM is limited. Here's an example script, https://github.com/novaspirit/rpi_zram
