I prefer bitcoin above gold because with the gold you can do more things, you can simply go for a long term but also a short term with it so that makes it so nice, with gold its mostly only long terms.
You are right about this, the bitcoin is better than the gold, the gold is so stable that profit is not really reachable at this moment. Its simply not worth investing in gold due to that. |

I like Bitcoin more than gold. And I dont know why, maybe it is fun to sell it or to make a investment so that is good.
I hope that more people will use Bitcoin so they can have profit too that is also very good. But you dont know what can happen.
We will see what is going to happen.
Due to its easy way of making bitcoin it is good for a normal pay to post person. I started with PTC's so this is good for me. But if you are the non-online person. Gold would be the best choice always. Yes and the community of gold lovers is higher in the world, meaning they would surely choose gold over bitcoin as they have already been using it since a longer period of time. |

Both gold and bitcoin are good, but i rather pick gold for now. Because many people already know about gold than bitcoins. Bitcoin is good too, if many people use bitcoin, i will change into bitcoin.
I think for long term gold is better than bitcoin, every country accept gold but not all country accepting bitcoin, that is why gold is better for long term, but bitcoin can act as currency and investment so if you are an active investor you should choose bitcoin You have a point there, in terms of assurance that you will earn gold can give you that but for people with only low investment they prefer to invest with a higher asset which is bitcoin because it can give the fast growth of their money in the future, risky but rewarding, that's how I describe bitcoin. but gold is too boring because of its stability, in my opinion bitcoins are way better and it can give you more profit |

So I prefer also bitcoin together it has a lot of opportunities and ways of using it. speaking of real investment you invest a considerable amount of money you never invest 20 bucks in anything, because that is not called investment it is called playing around. so in case of amount you invest, there is no difference between investing in Gold or investing in Bitcoin. besides there is also some options to buy smaller amount of gold too, you don't need to buy a couple of thousand dollars! and as for profit, as a day-trader there is good chances to earn profit in both markets but bitcoin is more volatile hence has more opportunities for profit. and as along term investor only bitcoin is good and profitable not gold because changes of gold are not that much. |

For example the Permanent Portfolio has done very well for decades and it has a 25% gold allocation. |

That's true that Gold is currently number 1, but bitcoin has the potential to replace it in the near future if it gets more buyers involved. We are already heading towards more capitalization with the stability of markets going on near $600. Both will have higher value in the future because both bitcoin and gold is a limited resources. So there is no bad choice between the two. If you can invest in both of them, then it is better. It does not matter which is number 1, what matters is that you can make profit from them. |
