If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

Bitcoin, because of different reasons: it is easier to purchase, faster to transfer, secure, easy to use... There is also the fact that may appreciate in value, as it become more popular and scarce over time.
That is why I am choosing bitcoin too. Even though I want to have gold but I am not able to invest with gold. Because here in my country if you have gold that is not going to e sufficient at all if you are going to buy gold at very low quantity. That is the difference with bitcoin even you have small amount of bitcoin that is still going to be a better investment. it is true, buy gold in small amounts will not be profitable. we have to collect a lot of money had to be able to reap the benefits of rising gold prices. bitcoin provides the advantages that with very little capital then we can get a huge advantage. |

If you all know where to use it the right way for you will exactly know witch one you want to pick but why not having both of the currencies you know there are so many people having both and that is not a problem because you can use both currencies for other meanings.

very valid points Bitcoin for a chance of a high return, gold for a sure stable return. Gold will never really drop super low, i believe at this point it's already pretty low so it would be a good time to invest in gold if you chose that over bitcoins. But bitcoins are way more fun AND you can actually pay with them |

Well the community of bitcoin keeps growing year by year, bitcoin has made already 7 years and going to make 8 soon, the halving at 2020 should make once again the price jump, if bitcoin value now 500 it should double as reward will be cutted always 50% soo a 1000 dollars speculation new value at 2020, soo why to try gold, does it has such potencial ? |

Yuh we have the same reason here, and the same choices i choose bitcoin than gold because bitcoin is more much easier to sell or to purchase it realy fast in some trasaction where you don't need some etchetera names etc , to send money world wide but bitcoin can do that , you can sell your bitcoin as fast as you want depends on your wallet you are using, |

i earn form both but i like gold more as it is more stable than bitcoin
and as I am doing trade at some level and that is why I do not gold because of its stability, I invest in bitcoin and with bitcoin I can earn a bigger amount within shortest time period. i never invest into gold either, in my opinion there is no reason to do that because it will definitely not allow me to make any decent money |

Gold is advantage is not only for stable price i think more people are knowing about gold unlike bitcoin they are really dont know about bitcoin how it works. but i think if they know bitcoin they will also stay at bitcoin instead of fold.. You can also combine that payfor casassious coins or bitcoin made by gold that you can sell them more high price in the future.. depends how bitcoin price will be in the future or the price of gold.. |

Do you want a chance to double your money but also take the risk to lose it all > bitcoin We all want to take the risk because we want to double our money that is why we are here and my instinct would tell me that it is more easy to double your money in bitcoin than in gold, the price of bitcoin can easily fluctuate and there are times that crisis happens so buying the cheap price will give us the chances to double our money in short time. |

"not to over invest?" you mean you mean don't put too much money to incest on bitcoin? indeed every investment have its risk level , and bitcoin have a higher risk than gold . i am not a hypocritical person , i do like bitcoin but so far if i have to choose between them i prefer to choose gold as a very long term investment. |
