i dont think that gold has any advantages to be honest at least i cant think of any, bitcoins are way better so any time i choose bitcoins only

Gold's advantage is that it has been know for a lot of centuries for being a precious jewel. And the price of it is just keep on rising and it doesn't fall at all. But it cannot be used as a currency just like the old ancient times, because now we are on the modern era. And bitcoin has really what it takes to become a popular currency.

To a lot people around the world gold is indeed a safe option, but with Bitcoin being here with potentially much higher returns, it can offer us a far better investment tool.

What do you prefer, holding gold for 5 years where you end up with 35% profit, or would you choose Bitcoin where you can get yourself a good 100-200% increase? I go for the second option!

Me too I prefer using bitcoin rather than gold. Bitcoin is very convenient to use even you are not skilled person or educated person. You can just use it immediately anytime you want, but with gold it is more close to the snatchers if you are going to hold it in front of a lot of people.
And it has a limitation, unlike bitcoin it has a lot of services.

Without any thinking I would choose gold, cause that is much safer option. What ever future brings, gold can stay the same or just become more expensive. I understand that bitcoins can worth even more but how can anyone be sure? I read everything here, and there is to many different opinions. I don't know in what to trust.
If I need to convert all my wealth into something, that need to be safest and most secured thing. I can't say that bitcoin is safe. That is my thinking.

The comparison that you are talking is very simple and it has no really big effect on why we choose gold over bitcoin. Bitcoins cannot be use without internet.. fine accepted.. by you cannot use gold also anytime you needed to use it because you need to sell it first.

I believe internet is everywhere and there is only 1% that internet will be down that is why most of the transactions now are done online due to it is fast and more secure.

Gold price has been heavily manipulated recently. It should have been around $1700 already. If the manipulation will slow down that's where I see gold in the near future.

I've always said that we should have both assets BTC and gold. In which proportions? That's up to anyone to decide. I do 80/20

Well put. With gold, you can have that feel of ownership and the price goes up and is tested by time already. With bitcoin, the future is uncertain but we see a lot of potentials to it at present time. The best approach here is to invest in 2 investment vehicles - bitcoin and gold.
