Bitcoin and gold both are good in the long term the only thing with bitcoin is we never know how high it can go in future whereas the growth of gold is limited and it cannot go higher after a certain level of extent, and bitcoin has a great potential of giving huge profits in quick time where as to make profits from gold you need to wait for a long time as gold is less volatile in compare to bitcoins.

Yes i think you are right, now gold has reached the highest price and is very difficult to expect a huge profit by investing in gold and I also can not say with certainty that bitcoin will give you a profit, but the current position bitcoin is more have better potential than gold.

yeah i couldn't agree more with you, mate that said bitcoin is more risky rather than gold and in my point of view gold is the best and most stable currency that i ever know. also every countries guarantee thier own currency as how much as the countries have gold. that is regulation how much the country distributed a currency. so i more believe gold rather than bitcoin because so many reasons.

That's why I don't focus more now with gold since I'm having hard time to be more familiar on how does the market of gold moves on. And the price of bitcoin now is increasing rapidly that's why I'm focusing more with bitcoin because the market of it is very promising and has the potential to have a very good outcome.

Most of us are indeed just follow everyone else, I think it is not wrong, because investment is indeed also determined by others (the popularity rank). Take a look at the stock market, when there is a speculator selling stocks then would be followed by others.

That depends on how you manage the situation, investing are both risky for gold and bitcoin but if you are a good trader why not still invest in the long term when you can make trades as day traders and make active income. That's also my thoughts about the idea of terms long-term or short-term between bitcoin and gold, but as this time around you can make more profit by investing, trading (buy and sell). That's also my thoughts about the idea of terms long-term or short-term between bitcoin and gold, but as this time around you can make more profit by investing, trading (buy and sell). But it always depends on the gold/bitcoin holder on how he managed to make profit. But for me I will do it for long-term because it makes more value as time comes. 

in my opinion it is best if you switch between them instead of only thinking about one of them or buying one long term and the other short term. for example there are times when bitcoin becomes so stable that price doesn't move more than $5 and there are times when it changes $50 you can make lots of profit in the later. and the same is true about gold you buy in the dips and sell on top and get out when it becomes stable.

Well another option is up to you whether it's fiat,silver, or any such things which have value and may be better investment than those two
