I would say Bitcoin for now. Simply because it haven't reach it's mature stage yet unlike gold. You might be able to earn a lot more in Bitcoin until it gets more mature.
But the risk is greater with Bitcoin. It can get worthless if some new bug or a better altcoin is discovered. There is no such risk associated with gold. It will remain as a valuable asset. And that is the only thing that makes them different from each other which is bitcoin is more risky compared to gold as gold wont drop its price as much as bitcoin does sometimes while bitcoin is more profitable than gold as it grows earlier than gold in price, that is what makes them different from each other, otherwise both of them are good. |

to me the only option is bitcoin and not gold. bitcoin is really a potential crypto currency of the wold and its price can increase to such a high level therefore i will select bitcoin and not gold.

For short term bitcoin its very good option I like this also but for long term we have to do some work and investing just in one is not good idea we need to manage and invest in two or three places for safety of our money Yes, bitcoin would be good for both short term and long term whereas gold may be profitable only in long term like decades of holding. The growth potential of bitcoin is really unbelievable as the adoption rate keeps on increasing everyday. But, gold is really losing its shining slowly as people are looking for other types of investments with the reason of saving gold is always a big challenge. |

I am seeing the opposite in bitcoin, all I see is stagnation and not mainstream adoption. Gold loosing its shine? Dont think so :  |

Gold has better, higher chances to rise before Bitcoin does because of its rarity. Yes, Bitcoin will be rare too someday (when over 17-18 million BTC will be mined), but it's just virtual. Gold, instead.. It will be forever available. |

I prefer bitcoin above gold because its nice to use and its also better on more terms, you can more things with it too and you can even use it globally as a pay method with gold this is a lot more difficult.

Bitcoin will become rare someday when there's no more that can be mined, but I won't get to live that long to even witness it.
Having an average financial status in life will not allow us to invest with gold but with bitcoin that is more fit for us because we want to make faster money with a little amount of investment and bitcoin can do that for us since we are in the early phase and more room to grow for bitcoins in the future. |

ehh.. my friend.. i don't know how to tell you how big mistake you do! You never can put your investment in one place! You always have to split that! Always is good to find 4 - 5 investments where your mone can be safe! Investing in one or two positions is like gambling. To keep your money safe you always have to look for at least 5 good positions to invest. You must think about that at least one of them will bring losses. |
