Gold is life time, I need and I wanted to have both. We need them both in our life nowadays.
Gold is good investment also you can always get money whenever you want because pawnshop is everywhere especially during emergency time while we also need bitcoin in doing online shopping so less hassle for us and transferring money to our loveones.

we don't need both in our life. more clear, we don't need any of them. we just choose gold and/or bitcoin as a mean of storing value and for investment purposes. if you don't have any of those, then nothing will be lost. problem with cashing out gold in pawnshops for example is that they require to scan your id and note all your personal information. if you don't have any problems with that, then it's of course all fine, but i am sure there are many people around that don't like the idea of having an entity being in control of that precious information.

Thats true gold will always have a value and it will never be down as the bitcoin price nowadays bitcoin price really fell down and unmanagable and unpridictable , few stores in my country already accepted bitcoin as a payment. As of now gold is expensive than bitcoin. But if bitcoin will rise and be more expensive ill choose bitcoin as investment.

I agree that bitcoin potential to grow our money, although the price of gold is more stable than bitcoin but needs really big xapital and extra security to holding gold. Also if we want to gain profit from it, we have to wait in a few years to get significant profit. I think holding gold is good for rich people. Anyone can hold bitcoin, the volatility makes the holder can get good profit even do not only have small capital. For me bitcoin is better.

Bitcoin is for the majority while gold is for the minority or the rich people. It's true, the convenience in terms of security belongs to bitcoin as we do not need to spend another expenses just to secure since wallets are free online and we can spread our deposits with different wallets provider.

I am also making a journey here in the crypto world and even if I will be successful here and I can afford to invest with gold, I will still prefer with bitcoin.

I guess there was none, that's why today it is different from what it has been in the past

I do not agree with what you said, I think everyone can invest in both these investments, merely profits it all depends on how much you invest and true what you say when bitcoin does not require secure storage such as a safety box.

Since the question of the op is to convert to either gold or bitcoin and then keep it there for 10 years I will choose gold because I have not an idea of what value bitcoin will have in the long term, but if I could convert it back to fiat when there were price increases and then buy when the price is lower I will choose bitcoin.

but you should know that the future of bitcoin may be brighter you could see mass adoption of bitcoin is quite nice, with a very nice bitcoin accepted by the world community, I believe bitcoin has good prospects, probably better than gold
