Even though the token has a good project and makes every investor interested but when the bear market position is as it is now they will have the fate of breaking into other tokens and altcoins. The decline in the price of cryptocurrency does not see the potential that exists in the project, but the investor project only looks at market conditions. I haven't seen when the bearish market comes in there is an altcoin that has remained stable or has increased.

Actually crypto market is still very young that many projects in it (especially projects that started when crypto was booming) are still in the beginning stage (still less than 5 years) so we still cant really see the real demand of the project yet.

But as the thread starter said that many projects are afraid to list their tokens on an exchange because of the possibility of the price to drop/fall, then what comes to my mind is theyre so greedy and many other negativities (like theyre not really serious about their project or they dont even know if their project will have high demand).

You know why? Because if they think that their project will get demand then the price will rise again and why theyre still afraid to do that? Because they also want to sell their own tokens with high price, they dont want to really hold their tokens until their project get enough demand.

This should be a challenge that must be done by developers and must be able to be registered in the market to have value and become the best coin. It is difficult to achieve this but it must indeed be able to develop properly so that the project can be realized and able to develop.

Nothing can stop those new altcoins being listed to different exchanges.

And as for blockchain technology, it will be developed no matter what circumstances will come it will be recognized by the people. And these developments will require a lot of things to be tested fairly which will make others realize that its not only about ICOs.

 We can not control the listing on ICO. Everyone wanted to take their chances in the open market for their products. What happen to the crypto if only selected few Coins be accepted? Everyone would say that this is a controlled market which is not good to the small investors, the whales only get the benefits of big profits...This is an  Open market  which everyone can participate provided they satisfied the requirement before list. that's my 1 cent opinion.

What I see concern the intention of the new project which were listed on exchange in this current market is that they have road map to follow and they have to fulfill their promises or they will be see as scam project. Besides, honesty is also the key to success of every business setting and what most the project lack are the strategy of making the project bullish even with this current market down trending.
 Meanwhile, blockchain is a technology which is meant to be commercialized and standardized either and what will determine that are the new project teams experience.

You are realizing one of the most important truths of the market, most coins do not really have a purpose, even if the market was going up and the coins were gaining value that will not change the fact that those coins are mostly useless anyway, but now that the market is going down it is more easier to understand that and that is something from which most icos will not recover.

I think projects need time to improve their technology, they should focus on product development rather than market changes. Anyway, bad markets are also affecting the projects

I think the rate at which coins are listed these days have reduced dramatically compared to few months back and I think with the current rate it's very much healthy in my own opinion, because a lot of coins been listed will bow out as they struggle to survive in this tough market.

Actually, it's not about the intention but the obligation because the people who have invested in the coin want their coins to be listed on exchanges(decent) although it does not make sense as there is not much liquidity in the market and the sentiment is bearish and the coin has to go down.
But this is just a market phase and it will end sooner or later and blockchain technology is definitely going to develop further.

I think the whole idea of ICO is still premature that will require a lot of changes. Governments will apply regulations to ICOs in order to protect investors' money. We have had countless scam ICOs. I still support the idea of ICO as long as its token has real use case(s).
