Dev's,
You said that Maccie, Paste and me could be community leaders. I think it’s good to send a weekly update about the coins. How could we communicate with you so that we can share it with our community? Every time I ask it looks like ignore mode = on. I know you are very busy and there are more important things to do, but let us then inform our community.

I am sorry to hear you are disapointed but I think devs are actually great. I am coming from GPUcoin community where the CEO was updating the thread once monthly and even refused to answer any emails to the selected users for middle layer of communication between him and the thread. Here I can see pawnco.in updating the thread daily and working hard. We have not been finaly chosen to be community leaders but exactly for this I see no reason we are needed for this, because I do see updated by devs side. What your questions have not been aswered? As far as we all know, lastest update is that the IPO for ePawncoin was delayed (for good!) and they are currently working on turning pawncoin into PoS. And I am not trying to be negative to you or protecting the devs deliberately. I am just saying how I see things neutral.

Previous wallet was probably built using db48, I use db47 for compatibility sake. Backup wallet.dat from /Library/Application Support/pawncoin delete the pawncoin folder and reopen the wallet. Once it's run for a while you can close it and copy (replace) the wallet.dat file in /Library/Application Support/pawncoin

No problem. Don't hesitate to PM me if you guys have any more issues. Hasn't been deployed properly. The paths are still hardcoded for the dev's system instead of relative paths.

Idea about pawncoin:
Why would someone pawn his items with the pawncoin pawnshop and send them to Canada, pay for shipping and wait weeks, if, for example, he lives in China? People will always choose the closest pawnshop. So how can pawncoin achieve success? It can become the first and biggest ever worldwide pawnshop network, by using local brokers in all countries. For example. Broker in China X makes personal contract with pawncoin dev team. He takes a loan from them for lets say 1.000 pawncoins and he must return them with 5% interest. In China this guy runs local pawnshop or even offer pawn services over the internet. A chinese guy comes to him and pawn his TV for 1.000 pawns, however, he owns him 10% on that. Scenario A. Chinese guy (who takes loan) returns the loan to the local broker X - 1100 PAWN. Local broker returns the 1.000 he has taken + 5% interest to the pawncoin dev team - 1050 PAWN. Local broker X wins 50 PAWN for his services. Scenario B. Chinese guy does not return the loan and looses the TV. Chinese broker X of course does not send the TV to Cannada, because after shipping it will become worthless. He sells it in China for 1200 PAWNs. After this he sends the 1050 to pawncoin dev team and he wins 150 PAWN. Now think about it. After 100 deals, the Chinese X local broker will have average 100 * 100 = 10.000 PAWNs. This may be enough for him to start his own business and he is not more dependent on the pawncoin dev team, or, he is dependent on them only on very rare cases when he requests big amounts for loans just sometimes. Then he can take the position of the pawncoin dev team and start hiring his own pawnbrokers trough China. If he is in Bejing, he will start hiring in small cities his brokers, get one level up in the pyramide, and add one more level to the total pyramide. And so on, just like Herbalife styled business. This way the network of the pawncoin can grow to crazy sizes and becomes the largest one in the world. What is the advantage of pawncoin over pawnshops in the past that tried to do this: the cryptocurrency basement. Because cryptocurrencies still have no status of money in a lots of countries. In some countries it can be legal to start such business without any documentation, because you are not using money, but virtual cryptocurrency. So a lot of people can start small this kind of business easy and fast. Later, this will change, for sure. However, until then the total network will be so large and powerful that all the brokers will be able to pass all the legal procedures.
What is only one problem of the whole idea which needs to be considered: the opportunity for local brokers to cheat pawncoin dev team after they took the pawn loans. There is not a single solution to this problem, but there are two possible options: 1. Each guy start his own local pawnshop by just buying pawncoins and not being dependent on the pawncoin dev team. However, pawncoin dev team gives him some kind of small percent or bonus over the business he runs, because he runs the business under the trademark of pawncoin and make the whole brand more popular. And when this guy can prove some significant amount of deals and turnover, he has gained trust, and then he can request bigger amount of pawncoins form the dev team once this is needed, to give bigger loans. 2. Dev team start the network from the core of trusted people around it. Maybe top community memebers, or very highly trusted Bitcointalk memebers, who are willing to do this, OR people who these guys recommend and guarantee for in their own countries.

we need to get more action on coinpod I also already see some LTC-PAWN sell orders Sadly only 1 buy order on BTC-PAWN As I pointed out, liquidity is very hard to collect. However, for the time of the ePawncoin IPO when people will want to buy pawncoin devs can announce 0% fee on BTC-PAWN market for the time of the IPO. This may help.
