I think from the beginning to the present day Bitcoin, which has gone through many difficult periods, will not be defeated in 2019. My expectation about this year is that the price of Bitcoin reaches the lowest price, then start to rise more strongly.
If so, then bitcoin will be defeated because it is impossible for the market to recover quickly or in a short time, it takes a process to recover and if this year the bitcoin reaches the lowest value, then maybe it will be stuck for some time which we might not see an increase the high will happen this year. |

Crypto currency seems to cold down these days and many people have lost faith in the past few months... People find most token are fake indeed, what they have was just a whitepaper. I think most of them will die in the next year. But what about Bitcoin? As the first and the most influential one, Bitcoin is still weak with numerous restrictions. Maybe it will fall into the ground due to the political factors, or beaten by other token which is better.  I dont think bitcoin will replace by some other coin on these years because all altcoins has been affected as well by the time bitcoin started to dumped. You can see that the whole crypto depends on bitcoin, so the right we should wait now is when bitcoin will rise again. The market now is so volatile, thus no one knows when it will recover again |

We said it defeated or crashes right now because we do compare the price at the moment with the price back in the December 2017. But if we try to look more widely the bitcoin price is still good and still have a lot of fans around the world. Alt Coin will die, Bitcoin will survive.
Stop comparing 2017 and 2018. Look at the whole process of bitcoin went through, a lot of things happened and it's price went up from nothing to something. Bitcoin will survive, I'm with you on that part and it will not be defeated for now. Yeah right, It will never be benefited since bitcoin did not even compete with the other currencies. If we think of the philosophy of Satoshi about the bitcoin, it seems like he would like to tell people that bitcoin's were not created to please everybody but to let people who would want it enjoy the benefits of using it. Without competition, without gaining markets. Satoshi's vision is to initiate the digital currency world just like the internet was initiated by someone but did not really competed with the traditional who were very affected by it. What people see those good days, they always look at that scenario and thinks that bitcoin can never go through bad days. Anyways, just look more optimistic for this year regardless of what bitcoin will go through. |

And what exactly is going to defeat bitcoin? Another coin, because the last time I checked the bitcoin dominance was above 50% and it is likely that number should be way higher since many of the coins in that market are scams that do not advance cryptocurrencies at all, but you mat referring to fiat as what it will beat bitcoin but I doubt it because if that was the case then bitcoin should have disappeared long time ago.
And finally you may think that gold could defeat bitcoin but I find that not to be possible either because even if the market of gold is many times larger than bitcoin gold cannot do many of the things that bitcoin can so it cannot be replaced and defeated as easily as you think.

Nobody exactly knows... There are talks in social media that ETH or XRP will replace BTC or some new cryptocurrencies will be created to replace it. Bitcoin is the first and the most known cryptocurrency, so it is not easy to defeat it in 2 years  |

There will always be room for new cryptocurrencys, but I don't really see any coins to take over Bitcoin in value or in market cap.
XRP are the only coin that can surpass bitcoins right now, that cut happen if they turned XRP into a stabil coin, with a fix value of 1 dollar. And released more XRP than the total Bitcoin value.
But again I don't see this coming in the near future.

This is not possible, because for 1 decade none of the altcoins in this industry overtake the price of Bitcoin. Did you see the gap of their price value its almost miles away, isn't right? Unless, if all users or investors will be gone instantly. |

Defeat? I don't think that's possible. If the reason is simply that the price of bitcoin that has not recovered and is considered to have caused losses to many people is very unreasonable because any investment must experience the same thing as bitcoin at the moment, there is a time to go up and down even stable in a reasonable period long time ago.
