Bitcoin can't be defeated I guess because the value of it right now is still biggers than anycoin in the cryptocurrency markets and even though the value of bitcoin today is not regular and not maintain it is not even close that bitcoin will be eliminated nor defeated by any type of crypto in the market. 2019 will be a good year for bitcoin I wish.
In the coming years, bitcoin may not be beaten. But if we already judge by what is happening now, then more and more people prefer Ethereum. Therefore, on the air, all shans win. It will not happen in the near future. However, the development of cryptocurrencies causes more and more pressure on bitcoins. For this, it can not be ruled out that in a while some of the currencies will replace bitcoin in the first place among cryptocurrencies. with volumes that are so far away I think it takes a long time for other coins to replace bitcoin. Moreover, bitcoin reaches 70% of the volume of other coins. so it really needs a miracle for that |

Years back bitcoin wasn't that popular as the present, another thing it hasn't got much user community. Now what we've is much big when calculated with the past. When this was the case it could've got defeated when it is in its infant period, now it has grown and matured enough to rule the market. So, there is no more defeat, it'll progress one way or the other.

Not now or in a year or two. Of course, I agree with you in terms of volume at the moment bitcoin is unsurpassed and is the most recognizable cryptocurrency. However, nothing lasts forever and along with the development of cryptocurrencies the importance of bitcoin can be reduced in favor of another cryptocurrency. I keep on believe that these hard times are going to make bitcoin to get stronger. Keep in mind that everything that ain't got us killed are just make us stronger.
I agree with you we cannot predict that bitcoin can be defeated by 2019 we can only believe if 2019 will be like last 2017 |

How can you say that now people prefer Ethereum? Considering the market cap, Bitcoin is higher on the rank meaning that is more powerful. Also, these two that you compare have different uses. The one is used mostly as storing value and the other for building Dapps that are helped due to the smart contracts. In the end, they are not the same in order to say that you are going to use the one over the other. |

there are so many new coins now but I never thought if bitcoin would be defeated, because bitcoin had too many people who believed and had taken everyone's attention a lot, like many people said that ETH would shift bitcoin but until now we see, eth getting away with bitcoin  |

Investors and traders should be patient to wait for the market to start rising again. There's no point on arguing if bitcoin will end or not, we all know the answer.

yes right if looking back before the massive increase at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin is only around $ 1000, but that investors and traders I think they are just worried that bitcoin will not have a significant increase, because they have bought it when high prices compared to current prices. I am personally very optimistic that bitcoin prices will be able to rise again and continue to grow if the time has come, just be patient for now and don't panic too much when there is a deeper correction. |

Crypto currency seems to cold down these days and many people have lost faith in the past few months... People find most token are fake indeed, what they have was just a whitepaper. I think most of them will die in the next year. But what about Bitcoin? As the first and the most influential one, Bitcoin is still weak with numerous restrictions. Maybe it will fall into the ground due to the political factors, or beaten by other token which is better.  I dont think it will happen. Well in fact, its the most influential and most popular crypto existing. Its also the most developed among the others that even a third world country accepts BTC as payment. I hope it will be more upgraded this year and more country accepts it s payment. Nothing can defeat Bitcoin. |

As stated bitcoin has got the chance to get defeated, but to what extent is gonna happen in reality is zero from my personal opinion. Till date several altcoins have been into the market and none has made a change to the bitcoin market. None has got the potential to take its position, it almost ten years having the first position. 2019 is truly interesting and more to see. |

There are so many things that should we consider before we can say that bitcoin will be defeated this year. The question is, by whom bitcoin will be defeated? i don't think there exists a cryptocurrency that can defeat it in terms of its market capitalization alone.

I don't think so, I didn't think btc will be defeated this year, sooner or later. Many have said it before and I witnessed it for how many years now but look btc still remain on top. Maybe say it again if other coin isn't following the trend of btc already. As of now, no indication of any coin beating the king.

If its mean defeated in market cap value, i am agree anything possible. But when looking current market condition, i dont think it will happen soon, perhaps need long time for others coin to defeat bitcoin in market cap value |

A difficult thing to describe to defeat the queen of all types of coins because all are based on the price of Bitcoin.If the Queen's price drops then all members experience a very bad decline later. |
