well, until now there is still no coin that has matched the value and popularity of bitcoin though what you've said about other altcoins is true. Actually there is a lot of coins coming out every now and then and a lot of them are dying also, some are just scams and some are unsuccessful but bitcoin is still the king of crypto and still undefeated.

well, until now there is still no coin that has matched the value and popularity of bitcoin though what you've said about other altcoins is true. Actually there is a lot of coins coming out every now and then and a lot of them are dying also, some are just scams and some are unsuccessful but bitcoin is still the king of crypto and still undefeated.

Bitcoin have different platform that makes this coin very special among others. Bitcoin have already built a strong relationship with the community, having a great numbers of supporters and investors will help bringing up this coins to continuously soaring high.
Bitcoin is too far from any altcoins and it can't be on the way for its replacement even in a 10 years from now or more.

If bitcoin price fall, its followed by others crypto and i think bitcoin still survive in 2019 and years after. it's very difficult to beat bitcoin, especially the volume between bitcoin and coins ranked second is still too far. and I think it is impossible to pursue it, especially as you say, where bitcoin is the holder of other coin controls, and of course other coins are developing along with the development of bitcoin

This is not possible, because for 1 decade none of the altcoins in this industry overtake the price of Bitcoin. Did you see the gap of their price value its almost miles away, isn't right? Unless, if all users or investors will be gone instantly.

I do not think that it will happen because it is ridiculous. Do you think that there are altcoins who can surpass the capitalization of the bitcoin that will make the bitcoin be defeated? Of course it is impossible because altcoins have do not enough power to beat bitcoin. The bitcoin has strong support from community and the community will not let it happen.

I agree with the fact that many altcoins will die in the next year, but I don't think Bitcoin will lose its predominant position.

There is no competitor on the market currently that can take the place of bitcoin.

Everything is both difficult and simple. There is a worthy replacement for Bitcoin, this is Ethereum. But the problem is that Bitcoin has a large market capitalization due to the fact that it was the "first". Ethereum will need a considerable time to get around it.

Who will dethrone bitcoin? Ripple or tron? I think no one of them can replace the position of bitcoin. They must perform first an outstanding volumes everyday in each exchange so that they can surpass ethereum daily market cap. Bitcoin will never be removed on its position because it already filled to the mindset of investors. For now, they are just sitting down but when bull goes on, btc will be the first coin to move up.

Because bitcoin is mother of all other coin, it makes it above always and it calls a  king of market, high market capitalization of bitcoin makes it higher and no coin can come close to nit, it will take thousands of years for other coin to reach the value or to defeat bitcoin no in 2019 or 2050 bitcoin will can’t be defeated it will remain number one forever.

I also believe that everything is not permanent including in the cryptocurrency market but it will take time for a promising altcoin to overtake the leading cryptocurrency. Ethereum must achieve what the bitcoin accomplished for many years to be able to gain more market capitalization and level the playing field. Rather than being defeated, bitcoin will continue the crypto world in so many years before another one will overtake its number one ranking.
