I wasn't expecting this close finish by the West Indies. Although they lost the match but it was indeed a good play by them. They were the underdogs and they really surprised the Australian team.

West Indies would have won the match if they could held on to their catches, really disappointed with their ground fielding as they dropped many catches and especially in the last over they dropped two catches of Wade that would have changed the match completely and then a run out if the throw was good, West Indies messed up completely and luck was with Australia in this match.

Australia did not play well today but in the end Australia won. Australia's top order failed today, but they finished well in the end. Wade has been the pillar of the team in bad times and strives to do his job well. Wade has done his duty properly in this match as well. Just saw the highlights of the match and it is true that if West Indies would have taken those catches they would have won the match. I am seeing new players in the team especially the players that missed the catches during the last over, even county players are much better in taking catches, how many catches they dropped and then expect to win is ridiculous.

One thing which i saw during the highlights is that, even the West Indies tail end players like Alzarri Joseph and Odean Smith could hit the ball a long way even though they were not many partnerships in the match.

And despite repeated failures at the top order, they don't want to look for alternatives. Instead of giving chances to younger players, the selectors just promoted Cameroon Green to the top order. I don't understand why the Australian selectors are so stubborn and refuse to give chances to fringe players. A number of players in the current squad are constantly underperforming for a long time now.

Those two were not tough catches that they dropped. The game was well poised then, and I felt West Indies could have won it.

If there are some great catches in world cricket, they are some of belongs to West Indies players. They are wise to catch. But yesterday's match was low score match. And while playing for that target, Australia almost lost the match. I didn't watch the match but believe me Pakistan women's cricket team should better take the responsibility of handling the kitchen rather than playing cricket.
 
Also, I don't know why ICC favored Pakistan over Thailand in the World cup qualification process. We cannot blame PCB for this. Remember that ICC is in control of India, so its Indian who wanted Pakistani women to play

Pakistan women's team lost the match only because of poor batting. If the batsmen perform well, Pakistan would not have any problem winning this match. Because the performance of their bowlers was good enough. Pakistan's top-order players should have played better. Their batting was very slow. Nida Dar scored only 12 runs off 22 balls. I don't think Thailand women's bowlers bowled very well. Pakistan women's team lost the match entirely due to their own mistakes.

The match was interesting and I was watching the live score on the Cricinfo site. Right till the end, it was very difficult to predict who will win the match. Thailand being the weaker team ( as they were not able to qualify for the Worldcup) did make a good show in this match, however, they only won a single match out of three played so far.

Also, i see people here interested in Women's matches also, hence i will try to fetch odds for these matches too.

It's true that Sidra Ameen did a great batting but in T20 format batting should be more speed up because her strike is very low for T20 format , and that's not good for her team. Pakistan had the advantage when Natthakan Chantham got out, but in the end Rosenan Kanoh blasted the best Pakistani bowler (Diana Baig) all around the park to win the match for Thailand. And this is a sweet revenge for Thailand. During the world cup qualifiers, Pakistan and Bangladesh edged out Thailand, just because these two countries were included in the FIFA rankings.

In spite of that, I still expected that Pakistan would be able to win this match, as it is Pakistan versus Thailand.

However, this was not the case at all. After a nail-biting finish, Thailand was able to come away with the victory in this match. In my opinion, this is yet another slap in the face to those people who thought that Pakistan should have a chance at a certain ICC women's cricket tournament just because they are ahead in terms of their rankings.
