Sri Lanka batted worse than I expected. They have given a target of 153 runs. They should have collected more than 160. Sri Lanka collected 84 runs in the first 10 overs. But they collected only 68 runs in the last 10 overs. I don't understand why the performance of the Sri Lankan batsmen has suddenly turned so bad.
Sri Lankan bowlers are bowling very well. UAE mustered only 38 runs in 10 overs and lost 6 wickets. UAE has no chance of winning. I won't be surprised if Sri Lanka win by 100 runs

Didn't the 2018 Asia cup move from India to UAE due to similar reasons? Didn't Pakistan pull out from the recent Chess Olympiad (Chennai, India edition), That too despite landing in India?

If yes then it's business as usual for obvious reasons and you don't need to shit on only one side when both parties are playing the same game, just move on.

I just hope PCB doesn't budge and host the Asia cup in Pakistan, even if India is not visiting, let them (BCCI) boycott.

The security in Pakistan is far better than before. Another thing, the people are that friendly and they doesn't have any enemity. But, governments will always take a stand not to tour Pakistan. Even a small disturbance can lead to war. There is big difference between Australia touring Pakistan and India touring Pakistan. I am not sure what inspired you to write such a brief description on how safe Pakistan is now? I may add that 1/3 of the country is still in water. Pakistan cannot sustain without help from abroad which is not happening considering China shutting down many projects and then Biden statement.

Pakistan is in a mess now and will untill US does something to bail out it with financial assistance I don't think it will be an easy way to become a normal country. The whole world knows what is happening in Afghanistan borders and what is happening in SWAT valley. Recently there was an attack on a school bus.

If the security forces are not able to safeguard their own citizens, how will they safeguard a foreign contingent? I am not a a geo political analysist but that is the truth. The situation is critical and it would become more in just few months.

Bad start for Namibia. A target of 121 runs can be easily chased. Netherland were able to chase in their last match 111 runs but this time they need to chase 10 extra runs which I think will be difficult considering the bowling performance of Namibia against Srilanka where they were able to defeat Srilanka by 55 runs.

Here we have many members those were giving tag of Dark Horse for Sri Lanka in this event but after having their early performance now they can change their view because here in difficult conditions it's not easy for them specially for their young players to perform like they have done in the UAE but still they have done good job as fight back from early defeat against Namibia as here today I was expecting target like 190 to 200 from them.

But, they fail to impress with their batting which is surely going to be concern for them in coming matches because now they have fair chance for going into next round their last game against the Netherlands is important for both teams, but they have to improve their batting and bring some better positive development if they want to do good target like this is surely not good against team like the UAE which is minor in cricketing world and most chances could be ended with 3 - 0 in this group stage.

There is no doubt now things like these could be happened around cricketing world because we have tension at his highest level in these both neighbouring countries and both are not going to give space to his opponent in any case even here India is having few biggest advantages, but things are never been easy for anyone so for me here now they have to rethink about this all and until end of this tension never allow these both countries to have any big event because this is surely favourable for cricketing fans and this game.

Gerhard Erasmus, for some unknown reason refused to sent two of his best hitters (David Wiese and JJ Smit) early on. These two came out to bat when 8 balls remained in the innings. And the match was very close and Netherlands won with just 3 balls to spare. Had Wiese and Smit got a few overs to spread their arms, the outcome could have been different. Now they need to defeat the UAE by a big margin.
