op I agree with you because in 2023 world cup we saw great performance from Afghanistan. Afghanistan made the impossible possible at the 2023 World Cup. Afghanistan has beaten a team like Pakistan so there is no doubt it will do well against India.  That's because Afghanistan's bowling line is very good batting and they can score quite well so it is expected that if they can't win the match against India then the game will be full of rivals. There are some players who will live forever in the history of Indian cricket and Rohit is one of them. We cannot judge the good and bad of a cricketer by the performance of one match. Rohit and Kohli performed well in the last ODI World Cup matches but in the final match they could not win the match due to some mistakes in their decisions. Virat Kohli is in squad he just won't be playing today due to his daughter's birthday. Most of new gen Indian players are good in T20 format because they started in IPL, even if veterans like Kohli-Rohit were to not play, there would be better chances for India to win the series.
