Pakistan started superbly in this final T20. Half of the South africa team in back in the pavilion with  less than 50 runs on the board. The way they are plating look like they won't be able to make even 100 runs. Pakistani bowlers are unplayable at the moment. 

Pakistanis were perhaps complacent after the victory in the test series. They needed the shock treatment, which they got during the second T20 match. Now they are back to their regular form. Anyway, David Miller and Dwaine Pretorius are batting right how. Although this is the last recognized batting pair, both the batsmen are regarded as T20 specialists. Pakistan needs to be careful here. One more wicket, and the match will be firmly within their grasp.

You can never be sure what would be the outcome of the match when Pakistan is playing. How come they let south Africa make 164 runs when they have bowled their half team under 50 
I can't watch this match further as i am too stressed about it. Someone please tell me result once its over

Pakistan requires 108 in 77 balls and 9 wickets in hand. Would say that this match is balanced currently as if Pakistan loses couple of wickets then NRR might rise and SA chances increases, and if Pakistan do not lose wicket for another 30 odd runs then their chances could rise as in the end they could speed up their innings.

Why are you taking this match so seriously ? Have you placed bet on this match on pakistan ?
Winning and losing is a part of the game. You should take it easy and not take the stress which can damage your health.

I really can't believe that Pakistan let the match out of their control, after they had South Africa reeling at 106/8 with less than 5 overs remaining. Was it that hard to get Lutho Sipamla out? At least they could have made sure that Sipamla faces most of the deliveries. On the other hand, they allowed David Miller to take the total to 164/8. Really pathetic captaincy from Babar Azam.

And once again, Dwaine Pretorius is causing trouble for the Pakistani batsmen. He got the most important wicket. Pakistan need another 37 runs from 4 overs. They should reach there comfortably. But you never know, when it is Pakistan. Tabraiz Shamsi has finished his quota and therefore the remaining bowlers need to take care of the overs 17-20. If Pakistan loses this match, then it is going to be such a shame.

Ireland just announced their schedule for this summer, which includes T20 series against South Africa (July 2021) and Zimbabwe (August 2021). Just hope that this time it doesn't get cancelled as a result of COVID 19 pandemic.

South Africa will travel to Ireland for three ODIs and three T20Is in July, as Cricket South Africa look to fill the men's team's winter with fixtures following the postponement of a three-Test home series against Australia. This tour is part of the 2018-2023 Future Tours Programme (FTP) with the ODIs forming part of the World Cup Super League. The matches will be played between July 11 and 25 in Malahide and Stormont.

The series against Zimbabwe is going to be interesting, as it is going to be between two sides of equal strength. Ireland will be having home advantage and therefore the odds from various sites needs to be considered before placing a bet. Even against South Africa, there is a chance that Ireland may win at least one out of the three matches.

I think this is a right time to start Triangular Series instead of Bilateral for the limited over cricket.

Triangular/Quadrangular series is a thing of the past. With franchise T20 leagues taking so much time out of the international calendar, the cricket boards don't have enough time to conduct triangular series.

BTW, I don't think that CA did anything wrong here. The South African strain of COVID 19 is much talked about in the medical circles nowadays, because the existing vaccines have a very low efficacy against it. The Australians are perfectly justified, if they think that sending their players to South Africa pose an unnecessary threat to the health and well being of their fellow citizens.

@JSRAW if things were normal then your idea had merits, but sadly things are not going to be normal even in 2021 hence it’s impossible to implement your idea.

@Vishnu.Reang you have hit the sweet spot because money is the key factor in deciding which series takes place, and everyone knows more money is made when the top 3 teams play each other.

I agree that triangular and quadrangular series can generate a lot of revenue. But nowadays, the cricket boards (at least the big 3 boards) receive most of their revenue from the franchise T20 leagues. So it suits them to limit the ODI series to one week, rather than stretching it out for 2 weeks or more. And regarding ICC, after Shashank Manohar was replaced with Greg Barclay it is taking a pro-big 3 stance. So there won't be much opposition from them. And no one really cares about the small cricketing nations (at least the big 3 and the ICC under Barclay).

Punjab Kings got more money to spend in this action and I feel they will definitely target those big guns for sure.I think the action is expected to begin at 14:00 at IST and live action available on various channels.

^^^ The auctions will start in around 1 hour 45 minutes from now. From what I can see, KXIP has the largest purse, and they may go for the biggest names such as Maxwell, Morris and Smith. Total of 298 players are up for bidding. BTW, it will be interesting to see if there is any interest for veteran players such as Kedar Jadhav and Harbhajan Singh. Marnus Labuschagne is also a player to watch for during the auctions.

Woah, Maxwell sold for whopping 14.25 crores despite of his poor form in the previous IPL. I think punjab would have thought for once that they could Buy Maxwell for something less than 10.75 crores but RCB and CSk were too excited for him. I think his form post IPL against India is the main reason why every franchise was so excited about him. I am surprised to see Steve Smith sold for so low at just 2.2 crore. I think bowlers will once again be more valuable than batsmen.
