Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli seems to have consolidated the innings after the fall of KL Rahul. Shikhar Dhawan just got out, and Sanju Samson has come to the crease. Now this is an ideal opportunity for Sanju to play a crucial innings, after his repeated failures. And the required run rate is still under two runs per ball, so he has enough time to settle in.

Glad that Australia could avoid the white wash in the T20 series. India needs 23 runs from the last 4 balls and it is an impossible target.
The lower order can throw their bat as they hit a six again and they need to score 3 more sixes to win the match, i expect Australia could avoid that.

Kudos to Aussie bowlers. They handled pressure really well, its not easy for bowlers when you are bowling against 2 gun batsmen at the death overs. Big plus for Australia is their 2 wrist spinners they are complimenting each others quite convincingly during the middle overs.

I think Natarajan is now fit to play T20 and ODI matches for the Indian national team. Now he is in good form. The Indian coach should now collaborate to further develop Natarajan’s talent and skill. Otherwise, Natarajan will not be able to service the India team for a long time. He will be lost in the crowd of other players. We have seen before that many good talented players are lost due to lack of perfect direction.

To play IPL for a month and now playing in Australia and performing you think Natarajan has fitness issues  . The talents that did not fulfill is because they did not change with the demands of international cricket and you need to evolve as a cricketer because the opposition team is always learning your bowling skills and until you evolve and change you will fade out.

I did not mean that Natarajan has fitness problems. My point is that there are many better players in the Indian squad than Natarajan. India has a lot of talented players for ODI matches. And India needs some experienced players for the Tests. Natarajan plays well but is not very experienced.

Certainly they are different, different in venue different in everything but still it should not be much for Samson because he is not like lord Tewatia. Sanju Samson is a genuine batsman and he had proven that a lot of times. Sadly he has always been flopped in international matches although he played 7 matches so far.

I never thought Australia would lose the T20 series. Australia's performance in the T20 series was very poor. Although Australia won today's match. However, I would say that even today, Australia did not perform as expected. I expected them to score more than 200 runs. Swepson bowled great today. Had Swepson not performed well today, Australia would have lost today's match as well.

Time is running out for them, although Sanju need more games as he's still very young in international arena (only played 7 games). Guess he needs longer rope and some backing in the squad similar to Pandaya, Pant and KL Rahul.

India won the series and probably you meant to say OZ losing the series. The match was exciting as even in the end Thakur quick innings just boosted up an outside chance for India but were little short in the end. If Hardik could have managed to remain not out till end, India could have won the game and rightly he was also awarded player of the series with his sensational batting display in T20.

I was expecting 3-0 or at least a 2-1 series win for Australia. But India played really well to win the series. The last match defeat doesn't bother me much, as it was more like a consolation win for the Aussies. The way Hardik Pandya, Jadeja and Natarajan played during the series, gives a lot of hope for the Indian T20 side ahead of the world cup in 2021.

This test acts not only as a decider, but it will help both teams gain valuable points in the Test Championship rankings.

Both the series One day and T20 ended in 2-1, first in the favor of Australia and the later one in favor of India. This means that we will have a thrill test series between the two countries and i am sure this will be the best most awaiting test series for 2020.

I think Saini is suitable for T20 match. But the Indian team for Odi or Test matches has more skilled and experienced players than Saini. Saini will have to work harder to play an ODI match for the Indian team. I think if he gets close to a good and experienced coach. He can improve his bowling. The Indian team management should build Saini properly.

Agreed. Temperament is needed for the longer format and Saini lacks that. On the other hand, I have a feeling that Natarajan is suitable for both the shorter format, as well as the longer format. Anyway, it is nice to see so much competition for the slot of pace-bowlers in the Indian team. Apart from Natarajan, Saini and Siraj, we have a bunch of young pacers waiting for their opportunity, including Nagarkoti, Tyagi, Shivam Mavi.etc.

Natrajan seems to be suitable for all kinds of cricket. A talented young player. The Indian Cricket Board should take proper care of Natarajan. Otherwise, this talent will be lost. Indian team have a lot of young players now. If someone is injured or off form, there are many talented players to replace him. So, whoever plays badly or stays off form will lose his place in the India team.

I don't think India will win a Test match against Australia. India did not perform as well as expected in the ODIs. They played great in T20 series. I think they played IPL recently so they have been able to do so excellent performance in T20 series. But Test matches are completely different from ODI and T20. At the Australian home ground, it is very difficult to win a Test match against Australia.

I think they might win 1 or 2 test matches at the very least since Kohli will be playing in the first test while Sharma and Pujara will be back in the squad. Also, the winning momentum is equally distributed between both teams currently.

Australia also has potential weaknesses which India will try to exploit. I am predicting a 2-2 draw since both teams are coming in hot.

India looked like they were cruising to victory with only 2 wickets down at 94 with 8 overs to go but them two quick wickets in the 13th over really helped get Australia back on track and the momentum which in the end saw them get the victory. So it was just like the ODI series but the opposite way around. I think this now sets us all up for a great test series, I know its a different format but both teams now have had success against each other so hopefully now we see a hard fought test series which I still think Australia will win but not sure if it will be a easy victory for Australia as some have suggested.

Got it, with experience and exposure in playing in different countries will help their grow as a player and with his accuracy Natarajan is a prospect for India.

The delay in DRS decision in the 11th over cost the match as Kohli did not take the third umpire decision even though it was the wicket of Wade who was in tremendous touch and if he had gone for the review in time that was plumb in front of the wicket and the dropped catches which is continuing every match.

Recently, I am not getting very impressed with Kohli's captaincy. I think he should concentrate on the test matches and someone else (such as Rohit Sharma or Shikhar Dhawan) should captain the side in the shorter format. Kohli's decision making ability seems to be getting worse with every passing year. And his selection policy is also getting a lot of flak.

I was never happy with Kohli's captaincy. If you are a good batsmen does not mean you are a good captain. What I see is only aggression and immature decisions. I do not have any idea how shikhar dhawan will perform as a captain but I am sure Rohit Sharma will be the right person for T20 and ODIs.
