Clearly, the changes made in yesterday's match were not good. They should have continued with the bowlers they had in the earlier match. Yes, testing before the ICC trophy is required but in my opinion, they should have done that when playing with a weaker team. I still feel if the same team was playing in the third match India would have won. If they wanted to replace someone they should have replaced Kohli.

Kholi has become more of an actor cum entertainer after his marriage with superstar - Anoskha Sharam.I think Kholi started seeing himself as a super star too.
He is more into other campigne like Black lives matter and save the environment and lost his focus on his career. Now there is time - Indian team should look for a new captain.

I don't understand what is the point of giving Virat Kohli chances after chances when he keeps failing again and again. And I also don't understand what is the point of giving him chances in the world cup.  wouldn't it be better if they got another player instead of him in the team and tried to give him some play time so that he will be ready for the world cup? 

I think right now Virat Kohli is just taking up space for another player who could perform a lot better compared to what he is doing for India right now. He even failed in the last match. Suryakumar Yadav was playing so well,  if Virat Kohli could only give him some support India could have won the match.

What you say is correct, but when one of the leading player is to be excluded from a tournament many things need to be considered. Just because he's not into form making criticism is not fair, need to think of what he have contributed to the team in the past days. He can take a break and come back, because right now he'll loss his play if the pressure gets built.

Virat Kohli is having problems in certain places. He’s been getting out with the same kind of mistakes in almost every match. He is having trouble playing balls outside the off-stump. He is getting out while playing similar shots. He should play and practice more consciously by focusing on these issues. We have been missing Kohli's great performance for a long time. So we expect Kohli to return to form before the World Cup and impress us with his great performance.

I have reasons to believe that if India wants to win any of the ICC trophies, then Kohli needs to be kicked out of the playing XI. And his monkey like behavior on the field is irritating for people like me. He is now in his mid 30s and should know how to behave in front of the crowd. First of all, India needs someone young as the captain, and oldies such as Kohli needs to be kicked out.

And in case of Kohli, he has too many godfathers to be dropped. There is no dearth of talent and a lot of quality young players have impressed in the IPL. But the step from IPL franchise to national team is not easy. In case of players such as Umran Malik, who have powerful backers, it is easier. For players such as Natarajan and Venkatesh Iyer, one bad performance is all that needs to lose the position from playing XI.

Sometime back I was also in favor of Virat Kohli, but now things are changing drastically, and he is falling down badly with this all selectors have some good choices for West Indies tour which is planned next month and having 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches, so they need to give him rest from this and World Cup for sack of Team India and send other youngsters those are in pipeline and waiting for their chance hopefully we will have better results and Kohli factor could be ended because he is now doing bad things in fielding as well with this all I am feeling he is now frustrated and having no better hopes for good future in this game of cricket.

@Sithara007 each player is different and I remember that there was a time when other team player’s were sledging Indian’s, but Kohli took the fight to them however lately he’s lost his way and as harsh as it may sound maybe axing him may not be a bad idea. Also I do understand that the player who’ll replace him will be under tremendous pressure, but if Kohli can’t score big anytime soon then he should step aside and let another player step up and perform for the team.

Right now, it feels like experimenting with a young prospect is going to be a safer option than giving Virat Kohli that chance to play in the World Cup. I don’t think he will be able to perform well in the World Cup.

Surely this is very interesting for me because with this all now I am feeling still region or political influence is having big hand in BCCI or selectors work because I was feeling now with this all money and better environment things are change but nothing is positive for this all they are still in dilemma which is not good for any country or sports authority.

If backers strongly pushing players like Virat Kohli. Umran Malik and Harthik Pandya which are not in good form and having no faith in talented players like Natarajan and Venkatesh Iyer then surely they are living in dark ages and having far behind system like Australia and New Zealand where talent is going to have big impact, and they are mostly at top with player's talent.

LOL.. 2019 is like three years ago. This guy still managed to cling on to the spot in the playing XI. But recently he has suffered some setbacks, after new captains were appointed for various formats. And in selection he is not being given a free hand. When damaadji (Ravi Shastri) was there, Kohli was behaving like a dictator. But with the new coach, it is no longer possible. And the BCCI guys (Shah and Ganguly) also seems to have got the courage to confront him. On top of that, a section of the population is against him due to the controversy related to BLM and Diwali.

I feel you are forming your opinion due to his off field life, which was bad obviously but after his long break from the cricket (almost 2 years) he's proving himself quite handy for the team. First in IPL and now in recent bilateral series. According to current form he along with the Bumrah, Jadeja, SKY are among the first few names to get entry in the playing XI without any doubt.

I don't know where did you get idea of Umran Malik having powerful backers. He's only getting chances in national team (in dead rubber match only) due to his raw pace and nothing else. He's not finished product but there is a possibility of improvement. Might be a good idea if he gets to tour more with the India A and additionally play for another state instead of J&K due to more eyeballs.
