I feel you are forming your opinion due to his off field life, which was bad obviously but after his long break from the cricket (almost 2 years) he's proving himself quite handy for the team. I don't know where did you get idea of Umran Malik having powerful backers. He's only getting chances in national team (in dead rubber match only) due to his raw pace and nothing else. He's not finished product but there is a possibility of improvement. Might be a good idea if he gets to tour more with the India A and additionally play for another state instead of J&K due to more eyeballs.

When a parliamentarian demands that a player needs to be immediately included in the national squad, you can assume that he has good political connections. And being a female, I have my reservations about Hardick Pandya. To be frank, he is quite disgusting. Once he openly claimed that he is of Jamaican descent and his so called parents are not real. Then there was a rape allegation involving a lady from Gujarat. And a few months back, he got in to trouble with the IT department for refusing to pay duty for imported luxury watches.

each player is different and I remember that there was a time when other team player’s were sledging Indian’s, but Kohli took the fight to them however lately he’s lost his way and as harsh as it may sound maybe axing him may not be a bad idea. I think Virat Kohli will probably be kept with the squad for the group stage matches, but after that BCCI will not give Kohli another chance unless his performance improves.

I guess everyone has a same opinion about Pandya as far as his off field behaviour goes but at the same we can't ignore the fact that now he's trying to change his public image due to very same reasons and as cricketer performing quite well too.

Personally, I don't like Kohli's behavior either. However, these behaviors often have an effect on the opposing batsmen. However, despite his bad behavior, he is a great player. After 2019 till now we have not seen any good performance from Kohli. However, do not forget that the team needs experienced players on platforms like the World Cup. It is difficult to perform well in the World Cup depending on the young players. And I'm not the one with you that India needs a young captain in the World Cup. Choosing a captain without experience will have a devastating effect on the Indian team.

But recently he has suffered some setbacks, after new captains were appointed for various formats. And in selection he is not being given a free hand. When damaadji (Ravi Shastri) was there, Kohli was behaving like a dictator. But with the new coach, it is no longer possible. And the BCCI guys (Shah and Ganguly) also seems to have got the courage to confront him. On top of that, a section of the population is against him due to the controversy related to BLM and Diwali.

If a player consistently performs poorly, it is only natural that the board and spectators will go against him. Had the player not been Kohli, BCCI would not have given so many opportunities. Even if a player plays poorly in two consecutive series, BCCI selects his substitute. But Kohli has not been in form for almost 3 years. And so the Indian board officials do not want to see Kohli in the team now. At the same time, the fans are also very upset with him.

He continues to behave like a monkey, both on-field and off-field. BTW, it's strange that you mentioned about Nagarkoti. There was so much hype about him after the U-19 world cup. And although his bowling partner (Shivam Mavi) is now a regular in the IPL fixtures, I haven't heard anything about Nagarkoti for quite some time now. Anyway, I just hope that Umran won't end up like Nagarkoti.

Kohli's behavior was never good. As the captain of the Indian team, I would be more comfortable to see a calm person like Ishan Kishan or Rohit Sharma. However, Kohli should be more calm. Don't be bizarre. He is old enough. He really needs to mature now. At the same time he needs to practice more. If the poor performance continues like this, he will be expelled from the Indian team.

Normally when a player is out of form, he takes some time off and concentrate on domestic cricket. Now I understand that Indian domestic cricket may not be of sufficient quality to attract players such as Kohli. But then, he could have played county cricket in England or participated in the Sheffield Shield competition in Australia. Cheteshwar Pujara recently represented Sussex in English county cricket. And a few other South Asian players are currently participating in that competition.

No, he is not into Bollywood but his wife is into it. He is just not able to play no matter what he tries on the field. If I am correct Sachin Tendulkar went through the same phase in his career too. He at that time blamed it on captaincy pressure and after leaving the captaincy his performance improved a lot. Kohli also did the same thing but he was forced to leave his captaincy because he sucked both as a captain and as a batter at that time. Till today he is struggling as a batter and I think he will be chucked out of the team after the world cup.

For all domestic appearance you need hunger and i'm assuming that Kohli doesn't think like that, unfortunate things to say but it does look like this.
