GT VS KKR

Can Shardul Thakur repeat what he did with RCB in today's match against GT? No one expected him to bat so aggressively in the last match, he scored 68 runs in 29 balls and also took a single wicket. GT are the defending champions and has not lost a single match in this season. If they win today then they would become the leader on the point table. In all, I am expecting a nail bitting first match today.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and are batting today. They have won the last two matches by batting on target. Will they be able to target a big score by batting first today?
Gujarat did not start the innings well. They collected 50 runs in 6 overs of powerplay losing 1 wicket. Gujarat started their innings slowly. Kolkata's bowling line-up is quite strong. Unless Gujarat's batsmen bat carefully, they won't be able to collect big. However, the Kolkata bowlers gave 12 extra runs in 6 overs. They should bowl with some control. If Gujarat provide a target like 180, it will be challenging for Kolkata to win.

Gujarat Titans are batting first. According to me, if Gujarat Titans want to beat Kolkata King Riders, they should be able to give them a target of at least 220 runs in 20 overs. And then the bowlers of the team have to bowl brilliantly.

Sri Lanka VS  New Zealand

The match was really interesting. Sri Lanka gave target of 183 runs to New Zealand. Both team tried really well in this match to win the match. Sri Lanka mad the match tough for New Zealand team. Only one ball and 4 wickets were remaining when the New Zealand team completed the target and won the match. Really an interesting match. Sri Lanka tried well but the luck was in the favor of New Zealand.

Sri Lanka played very well in the last match as well. It was not easy to score 182 runs against New Zealand's bowling line-up. However, this team's performance is completely erratic. Sri Lanka managed to collect 196 runs in the first match. And they managed to win the match. In the second match itself, we saw Sri Lanka's batting disaster. Sri Lanka managed to collect only 141 runs losing all the wickets. But in the last match, their batsmen again performed well. Sri Lanka's main weakness now is the erratic performance of their batsmen. If the performance of the batsmen is regular, this team will be able to continue to perform well consistently. They have several world-class players in their squad.

The match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand was very competitive. In the end, the situation of the match was such that it was difficult to know which team would secure the victory. But in the end, New Zealand finished brilliantly to secure victory by four wickets. However, the Sri Lankan team has competed very well against New Zealand in this match.

Sri Lanka played really well and placed good target of 182 runs. At the end the match looked little fighting, but New Zealand is very confident with their performance from the beginning. Tim Seifert is the game changer, at 15^th over New Zealand reached 140 runs with the loss of just two wickets. Further the players Chapman and Mitchell played responsibly without much of agression. In between they had a good opportunity to score 14 runs in the 16^th over which made things go easier favouring New Zealand. Finally series won by New Zealand and player of the series to Tim Seifert.

Hahahas someone has to remind KL that he is playing IPL. Coming to Vijay Shankar, he and Stuart Binny have always been considered two biggest chokers of IPL, they do play every year in some team or the other but don't make any impact, even on the national level. But this innings from him was remarkable. Even though he is far away from a national team selection, this innings looks absolutely excellent from him.

Yash Dayal destroyed everything with his last over. None could've expected such a  performance from Rinku at the final over. In the last five balls, five sixes required and Rinku Singh did it with style. 29 runs required in the last over and Umesh Yadav made a single and 28 runs left to be scored. Rinku Singh made it and reached 207 at the end of 20 overs.

Bowling from Yash Dayal is really bad, because to any batsmen a bowler should not allow to bat 30 runs in the last five balls. Finally what Venkatesh contributed at the beginning of the match turned useful.

Rinku freaking Singh! Wow! Just wow! These kind of matches are what make the IPL truly special. I knew KKR would be in trouble once Rana and Iyer would fall and that's exactly what happened though I didn't expect Rashid to dismiss 3 power hitters successively.

I can't believe what I just saw. At one point Rashid khan took 3 wickets hattrick and at that point the match become completely in control of the
Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders fans could not think that they could win from there on in. They needed 5 sixes in last 5 bowls and won the game for the KKR. That were just unbelievable scenes.

Yash Dayal must be killing himself on how he gave 5 sixes in the last final decisive over and ruin all the hard work done by Gujarat Titans earlier.
On the other hand, Rinku Singh becomes the hero for his team KKR after doing the impossible.

Who doesn't love a thrilling win like the one KKR pulled off? Rashid Khan's incredible hat-trick helps to get into the control of the match. But then Yash Dayal stepped up and giveaway the match. And let's not forget Rinku Singh! He hit 5 sixes in a row in the final over to secure the victory for his team. Honestly, that kind of finish is truly should be written on the history books. I don't think I'll ever forget it!

Kolkata Knight Riders' victory was genuinely surprising and they are deserving of all the praise for putting on such an incredible performance. While it is simple to criticise the bowlers we should equally recognise KKR's outstanding batting performance. Every batsman helped the team win as they easily overcame a difficult target. This amazing victory was the result of a team effort. The three spinners in KKR's lineup also contributed to keeping the opposition's total within reach. Instead of praising individual performances, it's critical to acknowledge and appreciate the team's efforts as a whole. Bravo to KKR for a great victory.
