CSK VS KKR

IPL 2023 has had a good start but KKR is forced to maintain their performance so far. After losing the first match by 7 runs, KKR turned around brilliantly in the next match. But they failed to win in the next three matches. Losing four out of six matches means a long way away from the Super Four of the IPL. So today's match is very important for Kolkata. There is no option for Kolkata to win against CSK today. 

In the previous match, despite making big changes in the opening pair, Kolkata did not see success. Liton Das batting failure as well as many weaknesses in wicket keeping were noticed. He made an easy stumping and missed a few chances that pushed Kolkata away from victory. The mistakes made by the players in the last match are expected to be corrected by Kolkata in today's match

At one point they were 80/1 in 10 overs and it was a simple run chase, less than run a ball equation.

So no one can blame the pitch completely. KL and his team were in complete control but lost their marble in the last 5 overs, in modern cricket if you are scoring only 23 runs in death overs despite having wickets in hand then you deserve to lose a match.

KL was batting till the 17th over. Since he played yesterday for a change the team lost. Mohit Sharma is another factor LSG not able to chase 134.

Arjun Tendulkar started well but had to face the rampage of Sam Curran. Poor lad couldn't sustain the pressure and gave 31 runs in that over. MI tried thier level best chase a big total but failed. Good to see SKY hitting those 360 shots.

Skipper KL was batting at 50+ score and today he actually had a nice run but again he went into his tuk-tuk mode and failed to cross the line from the winning position. Telling you, this guy shouldn't be anywhere close to any sort of leadership role.

That's not fair. He scored 68 from 61 balls with a 111 strike rate. He did his job as a captain while his teammates messed up. I rarely state that matches are fixed, but this one seriously seemed like one due to several reasons.

Allow me to give the full context of why I think KL was the main culprit.

His 50 runs came in 38 balls (12.2 overs), for the next 28 runs he took 23 balls. His boundaries came in the first half of the game, after 10 overs he didn't hit a single boundary, and keep in mind that he got out in the 20th over. 

You are a captain and happen to be an opener so he was at the crease for the full 20 overs, it means he was the only set batter at the crease and when a pitch is tough for a new batter then it's the responsibility of the set batsman to take his team to the finish line. On such pitches, you can't expect a new batter to come and hit 2 sixes.

Fixing is possible but I trust KL's supremacy to lose the winning match more. It's not the first time he's playing like that. In the last match also, he did the same thing but that day Pooran and Stonis saved the day for Lucknow.

T20 series between New Zealand and Pakistan has reached an equation due to rain where if New Zealand loses the next match, the series will be lost and if they win, it will be a series draw. Overall, New Zealand has no chance of winning the T20 series. On the contrary Pakistan have done well in the first two T20Is but they have lost their rhythm and New Zealand are more likely to win the next match. Many people cannot accept the condition of Pakistan suddenly. Cricket associated think that changes needed in the Pakistan t20 squad.

If you check odds for 5th T20I then they are in favour of Pakistan but as you said Pakistan already have lost the rhythm in 3rd and 4th T20I. So nothing is certain for 5th game. Both teams are equally capable of winning the game with New Zealand having a slightly upper hand.
Pakistan need some aggressive batsmen in there T20 squad. Right now only Iftikhar Ahmed is reliable hitter but he comes to crease very late. Babar Azam stats are awesome but they rarely benefitted Pakistan. Pakistan must try new talent with experienced players to build a strong team.

RCB has won three matches so far and the three batsmen of RCB Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli have contributed the most in winning three matches. These three players are performing well regularly. But if for any reason these three fail to perform in any match then Royal Challengers Bangalore cannot make much of an advantage in that match. 
RCB should have formed a balanced team before forming the team. If some such players are included in their team who are able to perform regularly. 

Rajasthan Royals will be ahead of RCB in today's match.  Because Rajasthan are capable of batting well from the opening pair to the end and every player in their team is in great form right now. Hopefully by winning this match, Rajasthan Royal will occupy the top position of the points table with the maximum number of points.

As expected only two RCB batters took the responsibility to set a target of 189 runs. This match proved once again Kohli is not consistent to open the batting order and is not reliable as a T20 player. We can say the same for most Indian batters playing this season of IPL. I mean just look at Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, SKY, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja & Axar Patel there is so much inconsistency. Compare them with famous International players playing in IPL and you will see the difference.

Won my last bet because of RCB and lost my current bet because of RCB. Ironic! I expected RR to comfortably chase down 190, but they messed up primarily thanks to Hetmyer who suddenly lost his form.

That's the big problem with the anchor players. They keep holding one end and fail when the time comes.

Dubey ji is a ridiculous spin basher, if only his game against pace was a bit better then he could've been a great asset for team India. Purane bhai playing without any fear and smashing everyone, IMO he's becoming the best buy (Just 50 Lakh) in this IPL.

This was a good win for RCB against RR. After all, RR is the best team this season so far. In the end the match did end up getting very close. It was certainly very enjoyable for the fans. Congratulations RCB for defeating the RR in a highly thrilling match. RR Won the toss and elected to bowl first. In RCB batting combination of Virat Kohli AB de Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell for the RCB has been reliable and Scored 189 in 20 Overs. They may have been the team main performers. In RR trent boult and Sandeep Sharma picked up 2, 2 wickets but  RCB demonstrated their batting prowess thanks to Glenn Maxwell who scored a scorching 77 runs off just 44 balls and also contributed two excellent overs and Faf du Plessis brilliant 62 runs helping to 7 run victory for RCB Maxwell was named Player of the Match for his outstanding Performance.

The Royal Challenges Bangalore had win the match at it was headline of the tomorrow new paper. Because they had win the Rajasthan Royals, Rajasthan Royals was the top order team and many times trophy winning team. Rajasthan had top class batting from the beginning, but the RCB allow them to score only 182 from 20 overs and eaten the very close win against the top order team. Royal Challengers Bangalore had accepted the game from the Rajasthan Royals to bat first. The evergreen player of Banglore Maxwell had score his fifty without fail. Maxwell best was 77(44 balls), So Maxwell keep his game to this T20 is impressive one. Du plessis had scored his fifth and complete the game with 62(39 balls). The RCB against the CSK was very depressed one to RCB fans, So fans of RCB now enjoy a lot. The closest win to RCB after many matches.

Losing crucial wickets is the prime reason. In today's match we were able to see this happen with the wickets of Padikkal, Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. If those wickets have extended for few more overs, atleast they could've brought the match under their control. Bowlers contributed good at the end overs, and failure of batsman too a reason. Hetmyer managed to score 3 runs of 9 balls at the end overs. The team that is at the strong position have started to experience continued loss. The team needs to find their mistakes and correct at the earliest.

It was another splendid performance from the Pakistan team. Many of the players are fresh from the Pakistan Super League and the impact was quite visible in their performances. Yesterday the partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan added close to 100 runs on board for Pakistan, and then Iftikhar Ahmed performed some fireworks towards the end. The inexperienced Kiwi bowlers (Henry Shipley, Ben Lister, Rachin Ravindra and Cole McConchie) struggled against the Pakistani batsmen. And apart from Mark Chapman, none of the other New Zealand players contributed with the bat.

This match is must win match for both. NZ will be looking to level while Pakistan to win the series but i think Pressure will be on new Zealand.

Toss win is also important. Bowling first will be more better. Both team will be looking to chase target.

The fifth and final match between the two teams will be played at Rawalpindi on 24 April. Let's hope this time there is no rain and we can see the full match between the two teams.

To be honest, it is not about which team is better because at one side Pakistan is playing with full strength and at the other side, New Zealand is touring Pakistan without their main players. This means that Pakistan should win the series comfortably and if they are unable to do so, there is some serious problem with the Pak team.

There is another T20 match between Pakistan and New Zealand tomorrow. As Pakistan is doing great in this series and the team players have great talent, I think this match will ensure victory for Pakistan. But the New Zealand team will want to bounce back in a big way.
