What a match it is. how LSG lost to MI by 81 runs. such a result was not expected at all. LSG have been considered a good team in IPL but they lost all their wickets for 101 runs and lost to Mi by a huge margin on this match. I was really disappointed by this match. many of me here supported LSG and bet for him but in all cases LSG surprised everyone today.

Akash Madhwal is the find of the season for Mumbai Indians and another wonderful spell of bowling in a crucial match and Mumbai Indians are back in form as usual like the other seasons during the final stages of the IPL and it looks like we will be seeing another final between Mumbai and Chennai and Chennai lifting another trophy  .

Akash Madhwal having day of his life as his performance give his team place into qualifier 2 which is surely great achievement now after today's performance I am surely they will win against Gujrat, and we will have one of the best final in this season with most chances Dhoni is going to retire from IPL, and he will try to end his career on high note after having early place into grand final.

But, this all is just prediction which is not going to fill until we have next game on ground between Gujrat vs Mumbai now both are having equal chance and on match day performance could be vital for any team but after watching today Mumbai now I am going to support them for the final spot to bat and bowl both are doing good now just need some good performance from top order.

Yeah, it's definitely going down that road but surprisingly it's not overwhelmingly supporting spinners only, which is the default setting of Chepuk.

Another reason is spectators already tasted the thrill of 200+ run chases and due to this, many don't find 170-180ish scores not too exciting. Although most of the time 150-180 scores could be very competitive if there is something on the pitch for the bowlers.

At the start of the IPL it looked like Mumbai Indians might not qualify for the playoffs this season and after losing the last match against LSG by 5 runs in the last match of the group stage, Mumbai Indians' playoff was very much in doubt but Rohit came back in a big way in the last match against SRH.  Sharma's team. But the win against SRH was not enough for the playoffs. The equation was that Mumbai Indians could secure the playoffs only if rcb were defeated by Gujarat titans. In the end, Gujarat Titans' win over RCB ensured Mumbai Indians' playoff. After putting together so many equations to finally secure the playoffs, they beat LSG by a huge margin in the first eliminator match, now they have one more hurdle in front of them to reach the finals and that hurdle is Gujarat. If they beat Gujarat tomorrow, Mumbai Indians are guaranteed a final.

The performance of Mumbai bowlers today is much better than the previous matches. Akash Madhwal is bowling very well. In 2 overs he picked up three important wickets for just 3 runs. Lucknow collected only 75 runs in 10 overs. The important thing is that they lost 5 wickets. Now the match is completely under Mumbai's control. But now Marcus Stoinis and Deepak Hooda are batting. These two batsmen are very experienced. And so Mumbai still has to bowl controlled. If these two batsmen are set at the crease, it will be difficult for Mumbai to win.

Most of the peoples were concern about Mumbai bowling but things completely under their control with after 12 over 90 runs and 6 outs mean now we have second qualifier between GT vs MI which could be good encounter.
Today we have good batting and bowing from Mumbai specially their bowlers which are no experienced done good job and not allowed LSG aggressive batting to have anything from here just Stoinis done some resistance but after his run-out now Mumbai can feel safe.

Today we have no big score from any Mumbai batsmen but still all were in good touch which helps their team for having target like 182 Naveen-ul-Haq's four wickets in vain with Mumbai excellent all-rounder performance.

Most people were worried about Mumbai Indians' bowling line-up as Mumbai's bowlers were not very experienced. As Mumbai's bowling was weak, many did not think 183 was enough to win the target. But Akash Madhwal changed the whole scenario. Rohit Sharma also played an important role.

Akash Madhal picked up 5 wickets for just 5 runs. I think this is the best bowling of this year's IPL. Akash bowled brilliantly. And because of Akash's bowling, Mumbai was in control of the match from the beginning of the match. Rohit Sharma also got two crucial runs out of Deepak Hooda and Goutham. With experienced batsmen like Deepak Hooda at the crease, LSG would have gone for the win in the end. But if they want to defeat Gujarat in the next match, Mumbai batsmen will have to bat with some more responsibility.

I had said the same thing. This guy did not have any experience of being a captain, still he got the job. MI were favourite to win against LSG,  the manner in which they won, was hilarious. LSG has no idea with the opening pair. Running between the wicket was not only confusing but chaotic. I am sure the MI team had a blast watching LSG struggling for runs. Hoping they defeat GT in the same manner, which I doubt!

He doesn't even bat at this number whenever he plays for Baroda but for some weird reason, he or maybe management thought that he's solid for the top 3.

The match against Gujarat will be relatively tough for Mumbai Indians as tomorrow's match will be played at Ahmedabad Stadium which is basically considered as the home venue of Gujarat Titans. Ahmedabad's wicket is a bit batting friendly compared to Chennai so we can see big scores in this stadium. 

It will be difficult for Mumbai Indians to win because Gujarat Titans are consistent in bowling and batting but Mumbai Indians are only consistent in batting although LSG won the match against Naipur because of bowling but a bowler will not do well every day. The rest of the team has to play with a lot of responsibility if Mumbai Indians have any chance of making it to the finals.
