It's the first time UAE's team has reached the finals and on another surprise today, Indian U19 team lose against Bangladesh U19.

Huge news from IPL front, Hardik Pandya to lead the Mumbai Indians next year [1].

I am not sure how Hardick will fit into Mumbai Indians. They already have one pace-bowling allrounder in the form of Romario Shepherd. And also I need to see in which position he is going to bat, since MI have strong middle order batsmen such as Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Dewald Brevis. Also, they have a very pace-heavy bowling attack which includes Behrendorff, Tendulkar, Bumrah and Madhwal. At present the only full-time spinners are Kumar Kartikeya and Piyush Chawla. If one of them gets injured, then they will be dependent on Shams Mulani.

It must be said that Mumbai Indians have bet on Hardik Pandya with such a huge amount of money. Hardik Pandya is still struggling with injuries and is expected to be fit before the IPL but if for some reason he gets injured again and cannot fully recover from the injury then Mumbai Indians will face a big problem. Well... last year's IPL was a horror story for Rohit Sharma. He made 332 runs from 16 innings, at an average of 20.75. And it is not just Rohit. His team mates were also out of form. SKY was their top-scorer with 605 runs, but after that second placed Ishan Kishan was far behind with 454 runs. Then they had Cameroon Green at third place with 452 runs, but was traded out for this season. Overall the season didn't went well for Mumbai Indians. They managed to reach the Qualifier, but that was all they got last time.

Tilak's position can be swapped for Pandya, I don't think he's as good as Pandya. Pandya can also bat lower down the order as he does in odis but I don't it'll happen.

I don't think MI will drop Tilak Varma for any reason because he had been their savior in 2023 edition and MI back hard the Indian talents more than others so even though they acquired Romario Shepherd from trade it doesn't mean he will be their first preference for the all round position and I see him as a backup in case if someone is injured and forced to replace.

In Asian Cricket Council Under 19s competition, today two matches were finished and both these matches were semi final matches. One semi final match was played Pakistan U19 squad against UAE U19 squad and other match was played India U19 squad against Bangladesh U19 sqaud. Sadly, squads that were expected to win Pakistan U19 sqaud and India U19 squad both these squads were lost today in semi final match very badly and both squads were knocked out from this competition. South Africa completely failed to show the way they performed in the 2nd match. I felt they were more aggressive. Run 201 It's certainly not low but they didn't show good game. It has not been seen how the team has to bat with responsibility to win. If they batted with boundaries and singles in every over, this match would not have been so difficult. Their biggest problem was the power play where they failed. Because of which such a big failure had to be accepted. They lost all their wickets in just 13 overs. If there is no competition in a sport, there is no joy. In yesterday's match, wickets continued to fall at one end due to which the game ended before the allotted overs.
