Today 5th match of PSL already started where two best teams are competing with each other. Multan Sultan won the toss and elected to ball first which work for them. I was expecting that Islamabad will give target above 180 because ISL have a very good batting combination. Alex Hales and Munro both failed to bring runs on the board and goes to pavilion earlier which put pressure on rest of the players. Salman Agha and Jordan make good partnerships and Now only 119 runs scored in 16th overs and lost five wickets. I think target will be no more than 160 and Multan will easily chase the target.

At yesterday's match where we saw Quetta's wonderful batting which was done by Khawaja Nafey. After that type of batting Sarfraz Ahmed said

"he was selected by the video that he published on Facebook otherwise I don't think that he had any chance to play" .

Actually, one year or 2 years he published his video on Facebook on his account, and on that video, he was playing domestic cricket for the region and the chances to qualify in the team from the region was too low. If you play regional cricket then you will play with companies and then any league will choose you and then more domestic opportunities will come and in it if all your performance is good then you can qualify but he is the only one qualified from regions.
By the way, Fazal Mehmood and Imad Wasim were also qualified from the regional cricket and on that time, leagues were not present so they had faced more difficulties selection in the team. Region is like a most lowest level of domestic cricket but it gives you a road map.

Islamabad United did not perform well in the early stages due to which the run rate was not very high. Islamabad United were batting in desperation due to the fall of wickets but Jordan Cox and Agha Salman managed to score 144 runs with all the wickets lost due to excellent performances from the two batsmen. However, the bowling performance of the Multan Sultan team in today's match was excellent, especially Mohammad Ali and Abbas Afridi, who managed to take 6 wickets with 3 each. At the moment Multan Sultan team is batting and they have lost one wicket, although Dawid Milan is out he is out for 0 runs not even a single run his batting performance was poor. But at the moment Mohammad Rizwan is batting brilliantly, if he can survive till the last minute then he will surely leave the field with victory. If the target of 145 runs is not too much, Multan Sultans are likely to achieve it in today's match and now they need 107 runs from 88 balls to win.

Despite low score from Islamabad United there bowlers did a great job and took the game to the last over and Multan Sultan got victory on second last ball of the innings. Four runs were required in the last over and Iftikhar along with David Willey played four singles to capture another victory for Multan Sultans. Multan Sultan are now at first position on points table and Quetta Gladiators are at second position. Multan Sultans are also runner ups of last year PSL.

In today's 40th match of Comilla Victorians vs Rangpur Riders team, Comilla Victorians team won by 6 wickets. Rangpur Riders came to the field to bat first and the run target was set and the Comilla Victorians team won the match very easily. In today's match, the Comilla Victorians team performed well in batting.  For which Comilla Victorians team won this match.

It was really unexpectable result for me in this match I thought rangpur riders will won this match also. But comilla victorians are also play outstanding today and that's why they able to prove my thought wrong. Rangpur Riders lost this one match after winning seven matches in a row. However, it will serve as a confidence booster for the Comilla Victorians. But I would like to say that the most credit for Comilla Victorians' victory in this match is Andrew Russell's performance. He took 43 run in only 12 ball is strike rate is over 358 I think it's a huge. And he took three wicket also.

Yes, fifth match of Pakistan Super league competition which was fought among 1 rank squad against 3rd rank squad mean Multan Sultan squad against Islamabad United squad. Actually, Islamabad United squad was not achieved big defeating target just  144 scores collected in 20 overs with lost of all batter wickets. Starter batter of Islamabad United squad Alex Hales and Colin Munro was not displayed fantastic performance in batting inning and both collected total 10 scores just. Jordan Cox and Agha Salman both these batters tried hard and made up good batting partnership but at last they lost this this match. Multan Sultan squad defeated Islamabad United squad with 5 batter wickets and 11 balls behind for play and emerged impressive victory.

I think the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is not doing very well when it comes to finding new talent. Most of the players that are performing are either overseas players or players that are already playing in the Bangladesh national team.

Don't get me wrong, players playing for the Bangladesh national team performing well in the BPL is definitely good. Especially with the t20 world cup right around the corner. But I don't think it is actually worth it if you do not at least find two/ three good youngsters or players who have potential.

 Of Course, we could compare it with the IPL. But at the same time, the money is not the same.


 By the way, I think one player who has shown great potential is Akbar Ali. And for some reason, his team is not regularly playing him. He was the player to Captain Bangladesh when they won the u19 world cup. I feel like this talent might go to waste like this. He was played only once in the last 4 matches.  And I understand that he did not have a good performance in that match but he definitely deserves more chances

Comilla Victorians team congratulations for winning this game and Comilla Victorians team won this game by 6 wickets and 16 balls remaining. When Babar Azam played games from Rangpur Riders team side then they won many games in past now he left this series. Comilla Victorians team won toss and they took a opportunity to pick bat or bowl and Comilla Victorians selected field first. Rangpur Riders set 150 runs in 19.5 overs and in 2 nd last ball entire team was dismissed. A.Russell got player of games award due brilliant effort in this game. He made 43 runs in 12 balls with four 4s and four 6s and also in bowling lineup, he took down 3 wickets in 2.5 overs with 20 runs. Won't be easy for Fortune Barisal to win against Comilla Victorians in the next match. Victorians won the match against Rangpur yesterday by a big margin. One of them is Maxwell who can easily take on the opposition bowlers and chase a good target all by himself.

Currently after 15 over they cross 166 run and they have still 9 wicket to go. Runrate is over ten 10 so I think they will definitely cross 200 run today. And that will be harder for Autralian team.
