Stolen AUR Aurora coin ideia. 50% premined WTF ?
Aurora claims to be official Iceland cryptocurrency at least. What is the reason this coin to be premined 50% ?

Are you jealous ?  Tongue

FAIL LAUNCH

Why do you need a github and a website at launch ?
There is already a source posted by OP, of course not at launch.

He has been already explaining how this is not a mine and dump opportunity for miners.
There have been loads of coins only with this purpose.

So whenever miners can't profit in bulk, it is a failed launch ? Good luck with that way of thinking.

I don't think all this is needed, but  I don't understand why this coin dev. released this coin so fast.
I mean announcement this morning for a launch a few hours later. that's fast.

It make me think it is some kind of rushed in student project or something like that.

I would like to thank to everyone that is sustaining the network. The hashrates are growing at a steady rate since launch. There will be developments following for this coin and yes, we intend to have it listed on the exchanges also.
I have already found few people willing to support this further and help with the plans.
We will have a Mac wallet soon.

I do not think he was intending to prepare a big amount of miners to suddenly start mining (usually these people have dumping in mind as soon as the coin will be listed on the exchanges).
I assume that his thinking was to get in the people that at least believe in this coin.

As I was subscribing to cudaminer thread, I can see that the little Nvidia GTX 750Ti cards are pulling 6.1 Mh/sec at N factor 4.
This is a little under big red team of AMD at 6.9 Mh/sec for the R9 290. I find it amazing as Nvidia GTX 750Ti is doing this at around 60 watts of power.
Pretty scary what will come with the new 8 series this summer.

And why do you need a 1 week pre-ann?
It is better when pools are crashing and network is forking all around?
Pre-ann is a bad thing look at recent succesfull coins: Myriad, Einsteinium, Piggy. Nor of them was pre announced and nor of them is traded at 1 satoshi like the last pre announced coins.
Pre hype is just for coins without any future. Coins with some work behind will not make pre announces

Probably he considers network hashrate being the network diff reported by the miner. At the time of his post yes that was 80K Grin

can someone fking post up a pool.

Hey, asking nicely would be good.
It is not easy to put a scrypt-jane pool.

I expect one though to come in the next day when some pool owners will notice the steadily increase of hashrate.

Sorry, I was mistaken, I was meaning the Difficulty reported by the miner was 80K.
As of now it's 103K and Network Difficulty is 1.568

I can see that Difficulty reported in the miner and the Network Difficulty by typing getmininginfo in the bitleu qt console.
