Version 1.1 is live which fixes the MPOS/get balance issue.

Source is here:

https://github.com/getprocoin/Source/tree/Version-1.1

Windows Wallet is here:

http://www.teamprocoin.com/~dl~/ProCoin-v1.1.zip

And updated Mac & Linux wallets should be online in the next day or two.

Please note this update was mainly for pools so you don't need to update your wallet if you prefer not to.

Nice job! That getbalance issue is a tricky one for pools.

Is there any harm in letting stuff continue getting deposited into my current Mac wallet?

No, not at all.  You won't need to update your wallet if you choose not to until we get to version 2 but that's a major update which is a few months away yet.

I was just kidding around when I posted that pic.

100 Satoshi is not a realistic goal right now. Value has to be added to the project in order for the coin to appreciate in price.

That's true of any altcoin. Since this marketplace is getting so crowded, it's hard to stand out. That requires commitment by the development team, the community, and investors.

The pump and dump mentality is putting a damper on the light of altcoins - which once shone ever so brightly.

The only thing that can bring up values for most coins is adding services and features so that that coin becomes a usable currency for a targeted market.

That's the plan for PCN. More details will be revealed as they become available. In the meantime, PCN is very reasonably priced and very easy to mine. It wouldn't hurt anyone to point some hash or BTC in this direction, because TeamProCoin is only getting started.

BTW, thanks for your comment.

Not in the mood for peanut butter?  Grin

How about some 100 PCN Block Finder Bonuses instead?

It's 'definately' worth your while to stop by and mine...

He/she who finds each block gets a fat 100 PCN (10%) bonus on all blocks!

Any weirdness going on with the pool?  I can have my miners work, but never see anything unconfirmed.  So, I pull them and mine something else for a bit.  For instance, now I see a few hundred unconfirmed, but that was from yesterday.  That's a huge delay.  lol

I only pull my miners because it appears nothing is happening, but it seems like something is.

Nope, there's nothing strange happening. There's no huge delay at all. 1,100 paid out in bonuses.

Do you think this can hit 10 before long?  I lost my ass on GREASE-Coin and can't afford any more losses.

I'm back to seeing regular updates and transactions.  Weird.  I got one of those Dualminer2 USBs to try out.  I know the reviews run the gamut from "great" to "this thing broke quickly," but so far, so good.  If it works for a few weeks, I may consider another one.  I'm using it on your pool, so maybe that's helping? Smiley

There are no guarantees but I don't see why not. A lot of miners and investors have moved to country coins in recent weeks but that trend is probably declining.

It would be nice to see some hash moving to ProCoin - especially since I'm literally giving away free money with the PCN 10% Block Finder Bonus. 100 PCNs per block (which are already 1,000 each) can add up pretty quick, especially when the diff is .17!

Even with 1 MHZ the rewards could be enormous. Considering they're going for 5 Sat each it should be easy money.

That said I think it's a good idea to try and get on Bitrrex now, just because of all the troubles that Cryptorush are having now.

They said it was on their list just a few minutes ago:

Admittedly, I don't quite understand the benefit of this coin (or most of them, for that matter), but I'm going to mine the hell out of it for now anyway.

Hehe, that's the spirit. At the end of the day the benefit to mining any altcoin is you can get Bitcoin and then fiat currency out of it!

With low diff/and block finder bonuses you can turn that hash into cash Cheesy

They've had a rough day. Maybe PCN will be added to Bittrex soon. That exchange seems decent enough.
