After the match end, e reach time to make  payment with our bank card, na so the waiter talk say if we wan make payment using their POS we go add N100 for charge. She talk say na so e be. Las las we nor wan talk too much, we pay the extra N100 charge o.

The whole thing come make me dey think say e be like say this cashless economy thing get as e be o. Because e just go against wetin I feel say na how cashless economy suppose be. How I go pay extra charge because say I wan use POS pay for wetin I buy?

I never actually get that experience before but if na like that they want to run it omo wahala they be that imaging say you go market you done buy your stuffs Finnish they come they ask for extra charges for the money omo the thing no go well at all, looking at it from a different direction na selfishness be that now you sell something finish you still chop charges you no wan loss, see greed abeg. I.e imagine you want to buy a car of one million naira, that means as an individual, you have to wait for good 10 weeks to complete a transfer of just only one million naira (#100k weekly).  Too bad.

Mate, the policy e no dey like dat. Na only cash withdrawal is limited to 20k on ATM while inside Bank is 100k or individuals but for organizations and companies can withdraw from 500-1m. Apart from the daily cash withdrawal limit. You can transfer any amount of money to another person through e-transaction.

Yes na true say, daily withdrawal for pos or ATM machine na 20k but, even over the counter way be 100k, that na maximum for a week base. Person way withdrawal 20k for 5days in a week and person way go counter go withdraw 100k in a day, e don exhaust en weekly withdrawal chance as well. Nothing dey wrong there with paying extra charge or na because say dem ask you na him make u dey reason am? Man must find way survive, na there own choppings be dat. You forget say you dey pay extra charge steady anything you use your bank do transfer or recieved transfer or na because bank no need your permission to collect that one na him make you no dey reason am?

Also @Coyster e get one reply you give me wey I dun forget where e dey to quote am but make I tell you. You can withdraw as much as you want but there's a charge. This POS businesses them need go register with government so them fit dey pay tax, we aren't paying taxes enough in Nigeria especially all this small small business wey government for use the hold body. Yes, I experienced d same tin in one super market in my area were I bought some goods to pay with my ATM card,  hoping that, there will not be charge over the goods but I discovered they charged me #100 for the #7000 goods I bought from Dem, that made me feel bad at the moment. Assume our banks are active in our country, i don't see what will make me to use ATM card in the supermarket because the supermarket owner suppose be the one to be responsible for the tools use in the supermarket.

Bro e no suppose to be so ooo. I guess say no be your first time to dey use POS to dey pay for services so why you know ask yourself why this wan cone be different? D thing wey really happen be say the waitress use una head collect N100. At the end of the day she fit get like 1k or more from customers. She probably don watch una, dey way una present una self say una be big boys... But one dey e go cast.

You know say all this money is been credited directly into the company's account but no be everyone go pay with POS, some go use cash, so na their she go collect the money or she fit collect wetin them dey sell at that price.

Bitcoin is definitely a long term project, one that is sustainable because it has an actual utility, if governments around the world can reduce the rate at which they attack Bitcoin, then i can see a future with Bitcoin being a well acceptable alternative to fiat currencies.

Yes there are, but not at the level of mass adoption; and it is used majorly for trading and speculation, there are actually limited merchants that accept Bitcoin in Nigeria, so many people can't use it yet as a medium of exchange.

- How is the Nigerian government responding to the increased Bitcoin use?

They aren't responding favorably thus far, but it isn't basically peculiar with the Nigerian government, many other foreign governments are not responding well to Bitcoin use in their country too. Well, the Nigerian government no longer allows banks process crypto transactions from exchanges (reason why p2p is popular amongst Nigerians), that is so far their biggest attack on the network, but i believe with time the Nigerian government will come good towards Bitcoin.

Na so dem dey charge me even I go supermarket go purchase item with my ATM card. Although e been dey vary from place to place. No be wise thing to get charged for spending your money but na the kind country wey we get.

Misplaced priority, wetin concern spraying of Naira to the price deprecating. When dem no go focus energy on wetin dey important na things like dis we go dey see. Them no know say dem dey destroy the job of minters. First na POS and now this, instead of carrying jobs them dey destroy the ones we been dey use hold body. First of all you are welcome to naija. The bitcoin  dominating City in Africa. I don't know what kind of project you are embarking on. But there is harm in this research. These are my views on your questions
1. Bitcoin has helped me in particular to stabilize my life and cost of living. After the university education, the government could not provide job for the graduates so I key into bitcoin investment as a friend of mine introduced me to it. And I am doing well even in the bear market. And the future is brighter with bitcoin.

2. Of course, those who are serious and patient with bitcoin always have new life. Bitcoin is not a get quick rich investment but it is a long term system because of the bear markets, so those who can endure change their narratives.

3. Well bitcoin is a digital currency which is used to exchange goods (assets) and  services online that out of authorities control (decentralized payment system).

4. As it is stated in 1 and 2, the future with bitcoin is bright.

5. From my introduction, Nigeria is the bitcoin dominant city in Africa. Therefore the population of users of bitcoin in Nigeria is uncountable upon the ban.

6.well there are different propaganda circulating the media that Nigerian Government is planning to tran the youth on cryptocurrencies. That means there is a pre-planned adoption of bitcoin.

The only way the Nigerian government responded to the use of Bitcoin is by creating their own digital currency which flopped on arrival. They also ban Banks from transacting in  cryptocurrency.
