Harry Kane was not in great form since the start of the tournament. If i remember correctly he scored his first goal of this tournament against Germany in the round of the last 16 and even in that match he had the opportunity to score before but it took him until the 88th minutes and a counter attack  to score. Also germany was already risking everything in that phase because they desperately needed a goal and England had a lot of room for attacking at that point. He scored two goals against Ukraine and one of them was the first goal so that was very important of course. In the match against denmark he scored with a penalty that he actually missed but he was lucky enough that the ball came back to him.
I still think that Schick would have deserved the golden boot but he is already behind Ronaldo with his 3 penalty goals.

Italy were the better side there and they managed to eliminate Spain 4-2. But I should admit that Spain were the better side in general in this game.

You should have understood this, a team that plays well will lose to a team that plays effectively. That means he can score and win without a good game. Some games I see often it's like in the EPL chelsea they don't hold the ball much but they win. Italy seems to be too, but in this case it's the mentality of the players that decides. Penalty execution needs to have a strong mentality and Spain doesn't seem as strong as the previous game. Their record in penalties was broken in the quarter-finals. Congratulations italy i actually support spain for the champion.

It's great that Denmark still has a chance to win, but it's a shame that the winner of this pair will be as worn out as Italy. With the extra day off, Italy will have a slight edge in the final. Hopefully Denmark wins today. England conceded the first goal in the tournament today and must lose  

Looks like an off day for England in the crucial stages of the tournament, England are attacking but they are missing the target.

Damn once again Harry Kane scored the goal for England in the extra minute, i thought Denmark would survive the extra time as well but Harry Kane came to the rescue of England once again and i hope they will hold onto this lead till the end.

While England's victory is a viable option (although I was hoping Denmark would win) it is a pity that this victory was achieved at the expense of a controversial penalty. I think there was a violation of the rules in that episode, but did it deserve a penalty? I dont know. But today I watch all day how even good friends swear about this on social networks and instant messengers. It is sad.

A lot of things have been said about the penalty yesterday, I have to agree with the most saying it wasn't one. I looked at it again a few times this morning, the contact is there but it is minimal.
The referee gave it immediately and I knew that VAR would not overturn it but it was a mistake not telling him he needs to see for himself.

England was much better and deserved to go through to the final though - but it will be hard to take for the Danes.

Forget about the plenty for a moment. If you were referee and you had to decided the result of the match based upon the performance in the 90 mins by both teams, whom will you declarer the winner ?
For me, England played far better than Denmark and rightly deserve the win.

Everyone should be happy with the results except those who are supporters or nationals of Denmark or who have placed bet on Denmark. It was an entertaining match with a dramatic controversial end.

Putting all my money on England now.

Don't take Italy too light, they seem to have a mission to lift the Euro 2020 and this mission is not impossible.

If Harry Kane will perform extraordionry in the final and wins the match then maybe he can get the Golden Boot. But if both Harry Kane and Messi perform well, then Messi will be ahead in the race to win the Golden Boot. I am optimistic that Messi will win the Golden Boot.

He has the opportunity to match Ronaldo because no matter how good the Italian defense seem it is not impossible to never concede. From the start I wasn't really sure England could reach the final because they were too unpredictable. They made it through the challenges of group stage, round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals but they were too difficult to score many goals. For the final match, I would still predict England only managed to score 1 goal against Italy, whether it brought him the title or lost to Italy.

Harry Kane is no match for Italian defense line, sorry to say that. Yeah, I'm happy with the result from yesterday's game, with England beating Denmark to the finals, at least it would be a good to watch match becuase, England would be more challenging to Italy than it would have been with Denmark. The thing is, I strongly believe its going to be a win match for Italy.

About Harry kane breaking Ronaldo's record or equating it, it would be a hard to archive one with Italy as, they would be keeping a close watch on Kane and Sterling. They are the once that have contributed the most to the success of the English team so far. It won't be easy for these guys.

It is hard to say who is going to win, but since England never won the EM before I think they will make it this year. Putting all my money on England now.

Quite obvious,there was a contact no doubt about it,the Danes became tired at the last minute of the game,Vastegaad had two other burst up with Sterling which wasn't awarded as well, beautiful goal the young lad.

In my opinion it will be difficult for harry kane to score two goals in the final because the italy team is strong and so far they did not conceid two goals in one game so i think cristiano ronaldo will be the top sccorer and its well deserved he played 4 games and against strong teams not easy to score against.

^^ I would say it was a proper penalty. I understand that we are expecting major stuff in order to call it penalty because that has been what it is like in the past but these days in the past few years, maybe even in the last decade if you want to call it, there are more penalties called because we now realize that it doesn't have to be very dangerous tackle in order to get penalty, the meaning of penalty is basically giving someone punishment for doing something dangerous, by all means we all would rather have a game without any fouls neither, everyone tackling very professionally without doing anything dangerous but we all know that is impossible.

So, these years we see more penalty because defenders do act a bit more reckless and we can't just have injury risk things as penalty, we need to have dangerous moves as well so that when you give penalty players would know not to do it again. I feel like it was justified in that sense, it wasn't an easy call, but it was still a move that shouldn't have been.

Yes, it's difficult for Kane to score in the final even if it's only one goal, because I'm sure Kane will be guarded against by the Italian defense in the final. So yes, in the final match itself I believe it will be very difficult to score goals for both teams, seeing from the previous matches of these two teams at least they can make a strong defense to block the opponent's attack. Therefore, at least it is certain that even if there is a goal that is created at least it will not be created from a pure striker.

Denmark could have merited to reach the final. I liked their game yesterday, I think it was decided by a greater football experience that England has. And, frankly speaking, the penalty has been a huge concession.
Now there is the very last game, and as I mentioned in another thread Italy has all the qualities to get the cup with a clear win.
I am placing a big bet on Italy winning the cup in 90 minutes.

The final match is the most difficult match compared to other match during the competition. So far England and Italy are the two team that have never lost in the EURO 2020 competition as far as I know. Italy has a strong defense, while England have not conceded more than 2 goals so far. I think Italy have a greater chance of winning the title with defensive power and counter-attacking, but England cant be underestimated. I love England, but I have to say that Italy is a strong candidate for the title.

Denmark had a great option to reach the final, for now what I liked the most is the life story of the Denmark goalkeeper who followed in his father's footsteps, I am happy that the Nordic country has made history, although England has always had a much greater dominance, perhaps because of their history, now the two biggest teams in Europe will face each other in the final, for my part both teams are very good but my favorite is and has always been Italy, since the team was here dreamed led by Paolo Maldini and since that 1994 final of Brazil vs Italy when Roberto Baggio bounced the last goal.

I hope this generation will change all those expectations and be champion style.

In my opinion, the player who made this achievement in fewer matches should get an advantage, but what do the rules say about this?
