Germany - England - what a classic. Like Gary Lineker said ''Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.'' Though, I see that England a bit favoured by bookmakers, but I don't know why. In group stage England haven't showed anything special and I don't see reasons to hype them. Yes, Germany were unstable, but game with Portugal showed wha they can.
Sweden - Ukraine. It something incredible that Ukraine who qualified from 3rd place got their own level opponents, while Austria from 2nd place had to play against Italy. I'm backing Ukraine in this game.

Whoever comes out of this super-fight will probably find it hard to live with it. Because at stake, in England-Germany there is much more than a simple Euro2020 game. After the exit of Holland, in fact, their side of the scoreboard could open up a highway towards the final, to be played in the fascinating setting of Wembley. Denmark, Czech Republic and one of Sweden or Ukraine are opponents definitely within reach, both for the English and for the Germans.
From what we witnessed with France, this too sounds like an unpredictable game that is simply a must watch!

People think England hide their real strength in first three matches that I disagree with. England have good players but they don't have good connections and tactics can be another problem. They have almost same players from World Cup 2018 but France have same squad and they were beaten by the Switzerland yesterday.

England now looks worse than in World Cup 3 years ago. Germany can beat England.

For Germany, which is similar to the Spaniards in making the risk, but with a lack of scoring because it does not have a real striker, provided that it is careful in its advanced defense in front of the crazy speeds of the well-known English attackers.
England has a collection full of brilliant names and young ages that seem unconvincing since day one,the question would be when will it rise up?
Sweden and Ukraine seem balanced 50%50 with a Swedish advantage after the first round.
My predictions would be on Germany and Sweden will qualify.

Fantastic game between France and Switzerland yesterday. The best match of the tournament so far. I really thought Switz were going to get hammered when they conceded two goals within minutes but they didn't give up and clawed their way back into the game to get a dramatic equaliser in injury time.

England have been to highly favoured from the start and don't deserve their 4th placed world ranking. Germany are 12th for example. Both teams were inconsistent though. Germany demolished Portugal but drew with Hungary and lost to France. England have been mediocre despite not losing. I think I'd still slightly favour Germany but I could see this game being a draw and maybe even going to penalties. I'm hoping for a high scoring game either way. If England can make it past them then it shouldn't be too difficult to get into the final from there.

There is also a possibility of a draw in the Sweden Ukraine match. We see a lot of surprises in the last matches. Although Sweden is the favorite for many people, Ukraine has a very successful forward line.  Especially Yarmolenko, making great matches.

I would see definitive Sweden as the clear favorite. However, Ukraine is not without a chance, but Sweden has better footballing quality. That may not mean anything, as we saw yesterday that good team spirit can beat a star team, but I favor Sweden.

It will not be easy for Germany to beat England, considering that England's goal has never been touched by a goal from the opposing team.  Kane is not going to let this go easily.  Although Germany is a fairly stable team, this match is eagerly awaited.  After Croatia was defeated by Spain, it was possible for Germany to be defeated by England.

Yes, actually I also support Germany in this match. At least they will win by only 1 goal difference. Even I think the match will be quite interesting. Remember both teams have the same problem, their strikers have not been able to perform well. Even Kane has not been able to score goals. I think in the next game the midfielders will fight, whoever wins in midfield he will dominate the game.

An hour ago I would have bet on an England win, but now that the German coach has finally realized that he has to leave Sane, Gündogan and Gnabry out, I have hope that Germany will win this game

It is surprising that a draw between England and Germany is having odds greater than 3.00. In a match between two teams of equal strength, I would have thought that a draw would have more favorable odds. England may be the slight favorites, but the German defense has performed well during the group phase. IMO, I would give 50% chance for two teams having equal amount of goals against their name after the regulation time. Well.. that is unless one of the players get red card which gives the opposite team a numerical advantage (similar to what happened with Netherlands).

Yes at the begining the game was tied up few chances for both teams and then we have seen england team get hold of the ball and possesion i agree with you that this game lilely will not end in a draw and i think the first one to score is most likely to win.

Beautiful goal scored from Paul Pogba and a terrible Penalty shoot from Kylian Mbappe.
But looking forward to the German match Today and hope they will doing it better as France.

Mbappe was unable to score a single goal in this tournament even with a penalty shot. The rude and arrogant attitude, conflict with Giroud before the Euro seems to affect him so much.

Switzerland have amazing return with two late goals to equalize. I believed they would collapse and give up after the goal from Pogba but they kept fighting so hard. Fair enough to say both two goalkeepers have a very impressive match.

Not scoring a goal especially when you are Mbappe level of player who worths so much is a big big deal. Like even the players who "worth" 10% and less of transfer value scored multiple goals let alone a single goal, and Mbappe failed to deliver. The icing on the cake was missing the penalty that would put them equal even if not win the game.

It is obvious that we are not going to end up seeing him worth as much as he was before this tournament, and to consider PSG also got eliminated at UCL and lost the league as well, and now him playing this bad at euro cup? All of these combined turns out to bite him in the back. Let's see what happens, this will definitely make him upset but some players turn to working harder and winning everything later on, and some players turn to being upset all year and then changing their team acting like it was teams fault.

Open game agreed, unfortunately this match looks like a low scoring game but Germany seems to be the better team, attacking more and have created better chances than England after the break of the half....could they be the team to go into the quarters.

Lot of surprises in the tournament and the highly rated teams were to careless. They struggle with team sselection, dressing room fight and pride. After Germany Vs England, new favourite for the cup might arise, if Germany lost, there will no better chance for England again to win the trophy with their present crop of players.

I do not know about dressing room fights,,, except France strikers but they solved that anyway but team selections yes. It seems if you have a small squad, it is even better because probably in training it is the same setup but with HUGE squads it becomes a problem when you experiment and then players cannot sync.

Yeah I found it online.  You’re right..  It’s going to be another tight match between Belgium and Italy.  But slight edge is prolly with Italy.  At first glance the half time draw lined at 2 looks good or even half time draw and BTTS combo at 2.45 for a little extra value.

Raheem Sterling scored a great little goal in Luka Shaw's great assist. England is now lead by 1-0. I did not bet on this match. Because both teams are strong. It's hard for me to guess which team will win. I am enjoying the match. Both teams have performed exceptionally well. I thought the match would be a draw and the game would roll in extra time. Very weak from Müller, he have to make such a goal normally. The English play well and disciplined, but I still think that Germany still manages to draw and it goes into overtime. Just under 10min Germany still has time.
