Guys, im not sure if this has been posted here before but there is a new GUI wallet for Bytecoin called Cryptonite XCN. Discussion thread is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700039Its still in development stage. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed. Been there. They are planning to support Monero, Boolberry, DuckNote, and Quazarcoin as well. Ouch! Who is going to be the first one to go there and tell them to exclude that annoying monero scamcoin? I am a big fan of ByteCoin - however Monero is not a scam coin. Let's rise above the level of some fanbois who troll and post FUD on this, and other, threads! I am all for informed debate and info on the various cryptonight coins! Allright, J1mb0, gotcha. Sometines though, when i see all this trolling going on its getting hard to "take it easy", you know what i mean? Eventually i start hating back, can't help myself.

BTW, what kind of tricks there are to optimize wallet usage?
For instance, whenever I start the Daemon and let it sync, opening a wallet starts at around "height 485000 of 530000" even though I've saved/exited the daemon few times in the last days. It seems like there is a hard coded starting number and the wallet starts from there, resulting 10-20 minutes for the wallet to fully sync.
Is this intended?

Welll, this is not really good. Haha, no shit. Yesterday i had a lovely conversation with Monero guys in one of the threads... They seem to radiate confidence. Something is fishy about Monero. I'm not gonna change my opinion.

I understand your annoyance, but hey, this is the community thread. People come here to talk, share some news, just have a good time... Repeating questions actually show that people are interested in Bytecoin and the community is getting new members. People here are nice ( not including trolls though). I came here with a retarded question which probably had been asked a hundred times before and people here answered it again for me.
I love this place. Though it seems like we are having a lull here.

Speaking about promotion! Only one question: How much$$$ ?? This actually says a lot about what you guys think building a coin is about, and probably why you are falling farther and farther behind. The answer is zero. No money was paid. Poloniex decided on their own this is something their customers would want. I have no idea if they are right but I guess they know their business better than I do.

I highly doubt that it's interesting to customers

I think some of the people here feel threatened by Monero and its advancements so they say things like 'how much money was paid?'. This competitive mentality you guys have is something I hate, why can't both Monero and Bytecoin be successful together? Why does the Monero community have to constantly be hostile towards other coins? I dislike Monero for the same reason I disliked Darkcoin at the moment. Why can't we just be friends? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5FfJ89rGPcBlowing out someone else's candle won't make yours shine any brighter
