Bytecoin weekly review! http://bytecoin.org/blog?11-28-14

WALLS AND TRAPS/ D878

As a result of golden age people were relieved of many responsibilities. Division of labor and its specific character have led to the situation where a person who cooks food doesn't know much about sewing clothes and one who builds houses is incompetent in production of cars. If all participants of the process are honest people, then there should be no problems.

And what if they are not? A cook will find food additive that makes meals exceedingly tasty. Should he use it even if it damages health of customers? But he will have a lot more clients and the health damage is not that extensive after all...

And if a car manufacturer will notice that people are not buying new cars because the old ones may not be that good, but still go. Is it worthwhile to produce cars that break down beyond repair in 10 years? Then people will stop using old cars and start buying new ones.

Instead of realizing that cook adds food additive that ruins health and stop eating his food or that dishonest manufacturer produces defective cars and stop buying his cars people just shift this responsibility. They invent state structures that are obliged to supervise how harmful on the average food is or how defective on the average a car is. They set boundaries which manufacturers are not allowed to strain. Manufacturers in turn are trying to legislatively wrest more freedoms and conceal information in order to meet regulations. Lawmakers start implementing regulations on execution of regulations and this process winds up on a higher level...

And now the expenses from the attempts of lawmakers trying to make manufacturers correspond to the requirements and the desire of manufacturers to violate these rules have passed beyond all reasonable bounds. We shouldn't make these norms at all. If food is unhealthy then it's not worth eating, if a car is defective it's not worth buying. Consciousness helps people avoid sub-quality goods and buy good ones. Consciousness allows us to be independent from the decisions of commissions and committees. Consciousness allows to be exactly what one wants.

If a person is responsible for his health then it can consciously choose whether to eat tasty and unhealthy food and probably get sick or renounce tasty food and probably preserve health. The regulator does not help people to avoid traps... The regulator creates an illusion of their absence.

Whoa my consciousness is on the verge of flipping out from reading this. I better go pop myself another beer and see how many BCNs I've mined today.

Sort of reminds me of the rant Max Keiser recently did against the financial 'regulators'. I agree with the sentiment. Instead of this 'crony capitalist' model where there only exists obfuscation and opacity with the illusion of 'regulators' (who are in fact just more of the cronies) we should demand true markets with knowledge and competition available to all. The policies of Western countries are looking more like Stalinist USSR every year.

The policies of Western countries are looking more like Stalinist USSR every year.

I would honestly be floored if the actual context of these blog posts held any significant meaning beyond being anything anything other than expected, and absolutely unsurprised if there were another way of looking at those words, and coming away with a totally different message.

But yes, agree that 'true markets with knowledge and competition available to all' would be a good ideal.

The most recent policy of western countries seems to be coming to completion.

With the gov't takeover of the issuance of student debt, the skyrocketing of prices for tuition for state-run higher education/research facilities, we now have government subsidized research grants (I believe they're calling them stafford loans), and the bill is being footed by both taxpayers whom the initial loan is provided by, and the students who take it on and pay it back for over a decade of their lives.

All this in order to advance automation to a point where the current working class won't be missed in 40 years when they go into retirement.

Perfect system, right?

The text is interesting and vivid as always. It's was a pleasure to read it, I like this style although it's a bit peculiar Cheesy

The text is peculiar seen with neoliberal greedy and selfish eyes, so it's peculiar for most of us. But it is completely sensible in a sustainable world. The article makes me trusting the developers even more.

VOTE FOR BYTECOIN!

I have already voted Smiley Any news about the largest exchanges?

We should get BCN listed on cryptsy

Contact support (at) cryptsy.com with the request to add Bytecoin to the voting list. I've done it before, but there's still no answer.

Hey guys,

Updated chainradar.com with pools information!

Find a pool best suited for yourself and you currency. Provided pool info: Name, Other coins, Version, Fee, Minimal payment, Miners, Hashrate, Uptime, Last server down.

Please don't hesitate to contact me through the contact form on the website or via the forum. Smiley
Thank you for info.
I have never heard about this pool: http://miner.center/ looks good but I prefer PPS reward and it is only on MinerGate.

I like Bytecoin (BCN). BYTECOIN.ORG the best to mine with MinerGate
