I've been mining this coins from the start and will keep on mining it until it goes to POS. I only have two Bitfury Red USB miners so I'm not getting that many coins but I'm getting some. I also got my SHA address in my signature if anyone has some extra coins to spare. I also have been giving it some votes to be added to Crypto Rush.
Sjp1X37GaShjEJVaH6DioC3YhWk5fafZ - Wrong address Oh. I messed that last part of it. I was going to say I've been getting coins from sha.hashing.at. It should be fixed now. Bounty sent.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I haven't been here in a while, 'cause having only a GPU clearly didn't allow me to hash out anything Nevertheless, this coin does seen to be heading the right way, so I'll ask fro some gracious soul to lend a help: how can I mine this coin with a R9 280X and cgminer? Or should I use another miner? Is it worthless to try? Thanks

We are close to BTC-equivalent profitability here. I have the following message to miners/dumpers:
Either you believe in the future of this coin, i.e. holding it as PoS to earn interest, or you don't. You are very unlikely to profit from short term mining and dumping here, because we are already close to, or even under BTC-mining equivalent price, and the market totally lacks the liquidity for that.
So IMHO only mining and holding at least until the end of the PoW period makes sense, no profits to be made by dumping now.

OK guys, thanks, I got it I'll keep that GPU on scrypt coins I''l check Exchanges for SHA, but so far only have 0.01xx BTC and with transaction/network fees, I'll get nowhere with them, I'm afraid. Thanks a bunch for the support. Hope I'll be able to buy some SHA up ahead (Y)

there's profit in it for me i'm more than happy to buy up what I can.. let them sell at 70, 60, 50, 40 etc etc not long till you won't be able to mine this and all the gains will be to those who hold SHA! I''l check Exchanges for SHA, but so far only have 0.01xx BTC and with transaction/network fees, I'll get nowhere with them, I'm afraid.
you'll get around 20000 SHA for that! i've been mining since launch and i've accrued ~25000 with my 55GH... if you have 0.01 to spend on SHA, get them now!!!

Hi, when does the POS kicks in? Is it enabled when the coin is in the wallet?
Here is a Proof of Stake Minting Setup Guide Step One:As with all Crypto Coins is to encrypt your wallet... so run the Wallet go to the options menu and encrypt your wallet with a strong password. DO NOT LOSE THE PASSWORD OR YOU LOSE ALL YOUR COINS... FOREVER!!!! Sorry to be melodramatic but it's important! Step Two:Go to your %appdata% folder (usually something like C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\SHACoin) and create a SHACoin.conf text file as follows. #SHACoin.conf # JSON-RPC options (for controlling a running ppcoind process)
#Server mode allows Qt to accept JSON-RPC commands server=1
# You must set rpcuser and rpcpassword to secure the JSON-RPC api rpcuser=<A username> rpcpassword=<A random password>
Note that the username and password can be anything it doesn't matter (it is NOT your wallet password and you should not make it your wallet password for security reasons) so make it something long and obnoxious. Step ThreeNow run the SHACoin-Qt program and open your wallet. Creating a batch file called "mint.bat" in the same folder of your SHACoin-qt.exe @echo off @echo Enter PPC password... SET /P variable=Password : ppcoind walletpassphrase %variable% 9999999 true
This batch file will ask you for your wallet password and will unlock your wallet for minting purposes only, any transfers will still require your password to be initiated. This must be run each time the client is restarted. If you did everything correctly you can hover over the lock icon in the lower right corner and it will say " Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked for block minting only". In theory you could just have a shortcut or batch file with the password entered but then you'd have a shortcut that has your wallet password sitting in plaintext on your computer which is a terrible idea! Step FourSit back and relax. Once you have the client running and you are getting the "unlocked for block minting only" message over the lock you just sit back (for a long time) and let the interest accrue. Note: it takes a while for freshly minted coins to mature so you will not see interest generated right away.
