It will get messed up once you stake. I'm not able to download any blocks past when my coins first went into stake. I'm stuck at block 18682.

Then you start getting this....

receive version message: version 60010, blocks=18873, us=MYIPADDRESS:25666, them=68.156.145.10:25666, peer=68.156.145.10:7509

i am on block 18777, switch to server mode seemed to do the trick for syncing, however the coins i purchased from the exchange on the 26th are still in my unconfirmed!!!

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 3/26/2014 14:39
From: unknown
To: SfapEDgzJhskfB8Ubg1QBFfQBDFATx4s7t (own address)
Credit: 21393.365144 SHA

Transaction ID: b6af7e6b928b4b4d98468d5e4f481df08516d3740ea43d3ee2283b140fe03cad

the coins, if you bought the from allcoin, may have been bought from a forked chain. they were the last exchange to halt trading??
where did you buy them from?
Repairwallet does not work on these, and I bought them from cryptoaltex
if they end up being from a forked chain, ill help you out with some of those coins you lost  Smiley
if they were from a forked coin why would they be just sitting in my unconfirmed would they not just vanish?
Here is my withdrawal history on crytoAltex

that transaction id isnt showing up when i put it in the block explorer, which makes me think it was from a forked chain
edit:what he said above, those coins may dissapear soon >.<
its either this, or that block explorer hasnt been updated to the new source?Huh??

I dont know how you can say the network is fine when a large number of people are having problems with client sync, no minting, and block height not matching the explorer.  This is basically a Blackcoin clone and I cant recall Blackcoin having any of these problems.

This coin is so pharked

I mined around 184,000 during POW, and purchased 235,000 from CryptoAltEx shortly after POW ended.

I staked all my mined coins, started receiving POS blocks (er, POF as the wallet says) and seemed to be working OK, then the wallet got stuck around block 15xxx.  Never did receive coins from CryptoAltEx.

Updated wallet, deleted blockchain & resync, coins from CryptoAltEx showed up, and most of my POS blocks started confirming.  Then, wallet stuck again.

Started reading here, added new nodes 198.100.127.36 and .34 posted by someone (sorry can't remember who), deleted and resync'd again.  All my POS blocks are orphaned, and it appears the transaction for the coins I purchased from CryptoAltEx appears orphaned as well.

if 198.100.127.34 and .36 are on the correct chain (who knows at this point), then CryptoAltEx is definitely on the fork.

So much fail.

They had problems but we seem to have a few that can't gget straightened out for some reason. Mine is working flawlessly.  Maybe some need to backup their wallet wipe the slate clean and start over with a new wallet. Idk.

I have Mint coin and I get staked coins all of the time but as soon as this coin went to stake my wallet will not download any more blocks from the block chain. It shows in the debug log that there are more blocks to download but it just says Misbehaving and DISCONNECTING

Have any of your coins went into stake yet? The problem is not a fork the problem is when it goes to stake a coin and then it does not receive any more blocks off the block chain.

Well my wallet is working fine. I saved my wallet and deleted everything. I used the updated wallet, it got stuck. I closed it, reopened and ran "repairwallet". Now everything is fine. I have several stakes and the first few are now confirmed.

I removed the addnodes 198.100.127.34 and 198.100.127.36 from my conf file, so far everything looks good.  My previously earned POS is confirming, and my coins purchased from CryptoAltEx are in my balance.

My wallet isn't completely done syncing yet, but I'm thinking these may be BAD NODES

I will post my peers list (29 connections right now) if my wallet completes the sync

Well I don't know who is on the right or wrong chain.  I am using the addnodes posted in the OP, if you are using other addnodes how do we know those nodes have the correct chain?

The developer completely ignored our concerns today and now we definitely have issues with coins all over the place.  I feel bad that customers aren't getting coins they paid for and there is nothing I can do to help.

Dev, we need answers and soon, not only have people possibly lost money but others are in limbo :-/

I think the biggest problem is that the POS minting process is happening WAY too fast.  When I start generating stake, it's like 5 or 6 blocks per minute.  Imagine 1,000 others doing the same thing - many with wallets much bigger than mine.  I think it's causing synchronization issues due to the massive number of new POS blocks being minted each minute.

Stake is supposed to be what, 30% per year?  I'm getting about 50 coins per minute right now, in chunks of 7-9 coins per block.  19,935 coins in my stake balance.

It has the new logo but say v1.0.0. Right now I'm in process going to send my coins to another wallet on my other computer but that won't help the 12k coins that are stuck in stake.

Well that was odd...based on the recent post, I removed those 2 recent add-nodes and my wallet is now synced at block 18964, which is lower than before.

So it really does seem that there is a fork here.
