Ok, you've said your thing multiple times. You gave your resignation, there was MUCH back and forth with some airing of dirty laundry, lots of people sold because of this, and the coin is troubled.  But I think at this point, people have their minds made up and opinions won't change.  For the sake of remaining people who are optimistic about CAIx's future, can you just fade off into the night? It's clear you are not a supporter anymore.  If you keep up with this, people will only believe your intent is not just to reveal things but to further harm the coin, and remaining bagholders.

Thank you.

Lets be clear, "we" as the Foundation at the time had no intention of telling anyone the Titans weren't coming.  This, along with the other failures were what forced me to resign.  If you all want to believe the spin of "waiting for a less damaging time" go right ahead.  They were quite happy to let this charade go on for the next 1 or 2 months because KNC would not be able to deliver anything anyway and no one would know.

The PR spin on this stuff is amazing, but hey Stuhlman can do no wrong right?  Koolaid anyone?

Ya because a completely moronic decision to copy another coin and release it as "weeks of hard work" isn't a good enough reason not to sink 20k in mining hardware into this coin.

It was just a "convenient" time to pull out right?  What is really convenient is that CAIx leadership "forgot" to tell us all when they found out.

This investor had the good sense to get out when he did.

Actually the investor bailed on CAIx because of poor decisions and lack of results from the leadership and development team.  He pulled his mining support, sold all his coins and basically said he will not touch CAIx again.

This happened in the wake of the Silk Coin copy and paste blunders after we were told the devs were working so hard on this update.

Quote
Ok, this is a huge blow, but it's not the end of the world.  If this coin is legitimate and the devs still support the coin, we have to face the fact that someone scammed us about the two additional miners.  But let's do the math and figure out what Joseph's miner is capable of at these prices.

Using the same figures from the original PSP document, one Titan miner should create 21.9 BTC per month.  At a current price of 0.00014 BTC, that single miner could purchase 151,761.90 CAIx per month.  Is it as good as three miners?  No.  But considering the current price of CAIx, it makes a dent.

I never purchased CAIx with the idea that I was purchasing a "currency".  There are 1000+ coins all trying to be a currency and CAIx in that regard has nothing special about it.  However, if you look at it more as a stock that pays dividends, this organization has potential.  The Titan miner could hypothetically destroy about 10% of the coins in circulation over the next ten months.  If you combine that with other projects and the developers can get back in their groove and create value again (think Tiny Elementals), those dividends could continue supporting the price and the "coin".

I believe we all got scammed, investors and the foundation (although the foundation seems to have known about it first).  But I'd just like to point out that once the dust settles, this could work.

I also propose we end the "masternode" idea with this current round.  Any dividends paid to shareholders should be done by destroying coins (share buybacks rather than dividends), and investors should be kept up-to-date on a weekly basis of such destructions.  I also suggest the Foundation keep investors abreast of any huge changes.  Something this large like the investor with 2 miners reneging is grounds for an immediate announcement.  This was not handled well.  But I am not dumping at this price, so I hope some of these comments and suggestions are heard.

+1 i'm with you on this.
I'm not in Caix because it's another currencey like other one, but becasue it's a Cryptostock.
The investor with the 2 titans promise probably scammed us, you are right. His intention was to help a pump group to rise the price imo.

Yeah pretty convenient how he found a reason to back out after he realized it wasn't about to pump by itself eh? Fancy that..

Dude... just stop already.. you've made your point (the same point) like 40 times now. We get it.. the Foundation decided to wait to tell everyone about the two titans till they had a way to do it in a less damaging light. You thought that was wrong and blew the whistle hard as you could (in a very damaging way). Just let us try to recover, you're not helping anybody but yourself at this point.

It's interesting to see how you are twisting things in a way you want or need at some point and I must say that I feel sorry for you seeing you are going through strange phase of transformation into master troll. I would expect all this from some characters here like RoscoeWins but seeing you transforming...
HUH

Anyway news for you Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or should I say TheGer and Virtuallann with friends, we are testing multipool.
Scrypt port tested, things are looking good on x11 algo port as well, super fast and responsive,... you know what that means.
Base for PSP, base for PSP beta regerdless on how many titans/vaultbreakers/GPU miners we have or we will have.

Oh, I just remembered you were so occupied with alleged lies and deceptions that you forgot to mention that we were discussing about early PSP start with any hashpower we have right now but we needed working multipool for that part. And we were discussing that even before we were told that titans investor pulled his offer. Right?
Things are roling, and will come out... yes, ... SOON
And to be honest only foundation failure I see was having you in foundation. Position you used for your selfish reason to find your early exit point selling in fear of what will happen at the end of masternode dividend payout.

Wanting to be a voice of reason while acting like master troll will not help you, so if you sold your CAIx just move on, if you still hold some than STFU and leave us to work in peace so we could fix whatever is needed together with shit you caused so we could move forward... fast forward IMHO.

But in all seriousness I don't know. I think he was around but unexpectedly got pulled off to deal with his family or something. He's been in and out of the hospital to tend to his family. I'm sure he will touch base as soon as he can. Meanwhile the foundation is working away on testing the pool, coding the wallet, and getting ready to pay the supernodes.

You can continue to spin it all you want.  I was a harsh critic, and went to an adamant supporter with what I thought was a great plan.  Now seeing how this all is playing out behind the scenes I'm calling it like I see it.  They were happy to keep the secret from everyone to maintain the façade of a bright future to keep people buying.  So keep buying...  I see the insiders come out of the woodwork here to prop up the coin with misdirection and PR spin.

"Oh yes, we meant to tell you guys everything, we were just waiting for the right time"

Don't know how any objective person would believe this after they were caught with their pants down lying about investor backing.

But please, buy up those cheap coins, I'm waiting for the right price to get out completely.

Well.. No you're wrong there.

Not sure who you think planned on keeping it a secret permanently.. But it would be pretty obvious there was only one titan.. not like we could have hidden the fact. We were simply looking for better news before rolling out bad news by itself. It's simple marketing strategy to avoid damaging the value of what your holders have invested in you as much as possible. To protect them.. Things were progressing a little slow due to the circumstances with Stuhlman and his family, so we didn't have anything to do that with. Meanwhile we were looking for other solutions. One of the large investors in the foundation considered renting 1 GH for a full month or two out of his own pocket to be used strategically (paying multipool miners bonuses or something.. we had lots of ideas for it). That didn't go through though because some people decided it was a good idea to rip on large holders and discredit their image for no good reason other than the fact that they were both largely invested and on the foundation (I still don't understand why this is even remotely bad, large holders want a stable rise just like the small ones). This displeased him, and between that and the falling price it was unable to happen. (I cant blame him..) You said so yourself you pitched ideas too. It is / was an incredibly difficult situation and we've been doing everything possible, even if sometimes there was frustratingly little room to move.

There was no lie.. the foundation has not lied about anything to date.. we just hadn't found a proper solution in any kind of a decent time (which none of us were happy about).

We're not spinning PR.. We're only telling it how it is.

There is no big bad monster.. just a bunch of volunteers collectively doing what they can for the coin.. even if they can't do much sometimes.

Well goodluck because nobody's buying thanks to your FUD storm. Not till things get back on track at least.

Oh but wait you conveniently sold the majority of your holdings before your "harsh criticism".

Smells like short in here.

(Also we're foundation members, not insiders.. Anyone can apply to join..)

Speaking of which, think you can help us improve the coin? Join the foundation!! We will vote on you.

Stop refering to CAIX as bags Smiley they are stocks in a company. I say whatever miners etc u have, point them at CAIX pools and cold storage ur earnings. What this will do is put more out of markets into ur pockets. I think this FUD storm was started so the node holders make the most $$$. Now that we are done with FUD lets continue forward

A titan in the current market is good, but how difficult will the market be by the time the titan is released?

I can't wait to throw all my titans on to the caix pool so I can push the price up and the big holders can exit while the rest of us get taken for a ride to chumpsville.

I could not fathom the logic leap it would take to spend $7000 on hardware to mine this garbage for these fools.

Exactly.  People appear to be getting a whiff of the garbage going on here and the price shows it.  Glad I got out when I did.

News for node holders.  Even if you get your dividend payment(which you won't) you have already lost more than you will gain from it.

there are 9 devs in the team, all they can do is copy wallet from other coins and tell you they are working hard and promise you 1,promise you 2 and 3 or ignore you directly. lol what a team

I think that in your impatience you mixed past, presence and future and you are not aware where you are.

The news would look like this.
Node holders, we are sorry to inform you but price is not going where we would like fortunately some impatience node holders sold at loss so your dividend will be even higher.

Anything else is just your frustration and FUD cause you sold with loss. I hope you know that you lose only if you sell at lower price than you bought for.

And statements like "Even if you get your dividend payment(which you won't)" you can say only if:
 - you are the one giving the dividends or
 - you are the guy with cristal ball

Anyway as you are still here spreading FUD this can only means that you are looking for lower entry point for which you are hoping that will gain you more than you would get through dividend.

haha, its funny to see people protecting a expensive shit.

Stuhlman I want to whish you all the strength for you and your family. please take your time answering the community questions or let some one els do it. Take care!

Virtuallann thanks for the cheap coins!
I am a caix supporter from the beginning. I believe the devs, not stuhlman but the other 8 should have been more active in this thread just to show us there commitment to caix , the might been working day and night for caix but we don’t see them. I believe if the had been more active the trust level was much higher. I don’t think its to late for that though. It is a good thing the board members are active in answering all the questions but a once a week update from the other devs wouldn’t hurt.

Yes it is a bump in the road if it is true the investors pulled back for sure, but common, don’t blame the devs and the board for not telling soon enough. If I have a problem that could affect my customers or share holders in this case I would try to fix it or find a alternative solution and if I tried everything I could and if i couldn’t do anything about it I would be honest about it to the customer, but you need time for that and given the personal situation of the main dev and the size off the “problem” I don’t think 2 weeks is enough time to  do everything in your power to find a solution. Given the fact that the other board members are still behind caix it seems like the agree… so to me it looks like someone blow the whistle to soon… so lets all buy up those cheap caix from the weak hands and move on up.

No the honest thing to do is to tell your shareholders what has happened and then tell them you are already working on a solution.  Any other way is a lie of omission.  What is worse is telling everyone titans are on the way when you already know they are not.  Quoted below is a foundation member stating as much after they already knew the investor was gone.

And he says at the bottom "I guess some people are distrusting our intentions" ha!

I want to believe, lol. still 1 question is not answered why there is 1 titan miner not 3 as promised. thanks.

Hi baseke,

One of the three titans is ordered by Stuhlman, a co-founder of this coin.
The other two titans are donated by investors (The same investors who gave us the BTC for the dividend program).
They do not want any of their information made public, which ofcourse we should and will respect.

So far the development team has delivered on all that was promised, I can assure you they wont stop now Smiley.
I guess some people are distrusting our intentions, I hope we have "proven" ourselves when we launch the multipool and give away the 14 BTC at the end of June.

Don't hesitate to contact us for any further questions, you can find us at caixboard.com or #caishen on FreeNode.net.
