From my point of view, a very good coin for investment, was and is - Bitcoin. In this list I can include another coin that I personally like, it is Ethereum. But you choose those coins that you personally like.

Next, I suggest DASH, that has big communities and actively communication as well as few significant upgrades recent months; then Bitshares should be considered and added to portfolio because the coin is a backbone of Decentralized exchanges. More good altcoins, but Ethereum, DASH, and Bitshares should have in our portfolios.

As long as you are gaining profit from your investments, you are doing it good. Buy low, sell high is my simple motto in trading.
