Suchmoon what do you think of Nicehash overall?

Now that GAW hosted miners can run there, I been thinking about trying it..

I mainly am on Waffle.  And it looks like Nicehash does about the same as WP and Clever?  So not sure if worth trying..

   Thanks!

Technically it should be better than WP/CM but it has had lots of issues recently. Some caused by DDOS attacks, some of their own doing. I would suggest to set it up as a primary pool and waffle as a secondary and see where that gets you. Also check their FAQ about how to set a price limit (I haven't used that myself though):

https://nicehash.com/?p=faq#faqs3

Thanks for that Info

But I am Confused on what to set my price at..

So if I have 30 MH's I want to point to NiceHash, how do I determine what I set my p= to???

Can I see a list of orders to see what the offers are?

And since I have MH's will it be something like p=0.004    Meaning I want a least 0.004 BTC per MH per day?

The list of orders is on the front page, but you would probably want to set it to something that fits your expectation (e.g. higher than multipools), not necessarily existing orders. Price is per GH/s, so to get 0.004 per MH/s or more, you would have p=4.0 as your password. Then if there are such orders available your miners would mine at nicehash, if not - at your backup pool.

I still think you need to add CoinSolver, Scrypt and Scrypt-N

I have adjusted Y-axis on the charts, since most of the big spikes have fallen off now. This should make them a bit more readable.

Heads up - I'll be traveling over the weekend so the chart updates might come late. I'll collect the numbers as usual, since that process is mostly automated, but I'll not be able to update the spreadsheet and this thread until I can get to a decent Internet connection, which might be 4-6 hours later.

Have a great trip Suchmoon. Don't stress about updating the thread. We can live without fresh numbers for a few days  Wink

Wafflepool has been kind of, er, waffling lately. It's too bad because I really like its transparency and stats. It's kind of hard to justify moving to CleverMining because the difference isn't that great. Although you probably can't go too wrong playing "follow the whale."

I've got mostly GSD ASICs so the scrypt-N and X-11 pools are out for me. But TradeMyBit seems to be doing really well in the 10 day average. I assume that the "TradeMyBit" numbers are for their scrypt multi-pool, right? I searched the thread and it looks like you added them on April 20th, but I just want to be sure that those posted numbers are for the multi pool.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, TradeMyBit is Scrypt, I guess I should add "Scr" to it. Just keep in mind that its numbers are inflated by one lucky day when they mined ShibeCoin when big pools didn't. You can see that bump on the big chart. Otherwise they are about on par with the other pools. Although it stands to reason that being a smaller pool they are more flexible and will be able to jump on the next meme when it comes along. It's your hashes to gamble, I'm just a messenger Smiley

Ah, I missed the fact that they were early ShibeCoin adopters. Thanks for pointing that out.

is your calculation based on algorithm Mhash or scrypt Mhash?

I was pointing my rig to TMB x11, but didn't get any number close to what you earned

Scr - 100%
Nscr - 45-50%
X11 - 280-300%

So on TMB 0.00467 ( DRK ) / 2.8-3 = ~ 0.0015 ( 1 mh\s on X11 )

And remember TMB long time trading y coins.  Wink

I can get about 3.3Mhash on X11. So, 3.3 x 0.0015 = 0.00495.

But i get a lot lower, a lot!

Currently i'm mining 8hours/day (whole nights)

PS: I am aware that calculation is per whole day, i was comparing my 8hours mining on x11 vs 8hours mining on scrypt. I Think since i have more Mhash in x11, i should gain more profit in same timeframe. am i wrong?

You have more hashrate (MH/s) with X11, but each MH/s is earning less BTC. For this reason the charts (and the spreadsheet) have X11 adjusted to be comparable to Scrypt, i.e. X11 earnings on the charts are PER SCRYPT MH/s. Please also read caveat #3 in OP and let me know if it isn't clear enough - I know I sometimes tend to "underexplain" things.

Another thing to keep in mind is that switching every 8 hours has an additional effect on variance (luck). You may see earnings fluctuate a lot, not every 8-hour period is the same, just as not every 24-hour period is the same.

So, What i get is i can get about same profitability as scrypt from X11 with less electricity usage in the same timeframe. am i correct?

At this time - yes, X11 profitability is roughly similar to Scrypt.
