I want to say they only do like 47mh or so.  I don't even select the 6700, 6800, or 6900 series.  Of course that being said I have one 6700 and one 6800.  Also I was once again not selected but I'm glad at least two people here got selected today.

you can get watts to 111 on software maybe 107 and they do 42-43 mh

I got selected for a 6700, first time ever winning anything.  

Problem is I got the notice at 10:30, had until 11, and didn't check until 12, and lost out.

How do you guys actually catch the notice?  

With only a half hour window I'd have to constantly refresh, and with this 1 win in over 5 months, that aint going to happen.

Its is pretty much one of many time consuming things the mining does.

I could have ordered as many as 45 pny 3070 cards. they were pricey and i think i am a few days away from the point that they would be back to msrp.

say 6 a day for all of feb march and april and 6 days now it comes to 95 x 6 = 570

I think that was more then mark up.

I should check my records just to see.
as i did buy 1 and give the link to them for another person.

Got those 2 L3+ in this morning and they actually were legit.  Look brand new.  Already tested out and work great.  Guy has more but now he has realized he was selling too cheap and price is a lot higher.  Got out at a nice deal on these at least.  Adding in the PSU/Cables/Breakout board, only have $675 in each of them.  Take that all day if #'s stay anywhere near where they are right now.

Now to figure out where I am going to put these loud things.  Any tips on them phil as far tweaking firmware, etc?  Or you just run stock?

okay Bitmain has the older firmware which is better as it allows full fan and freq control

and of course the newer firmware which does not allow fan control.

I have it over clocked on the old firmware freq 412 . and fans are set to 75%

so see if you can do both freq and fan speed

those are good numbers

you are burning about 1600-1700 watts for 2 units.

you can run for a day see if it holds with 1% or less errors.

if stable drop fans to 28%

it is always hard to know how low to set fans since they ship with fans that do:

 4500 at 100%
all the way up to

7000 at 100%

in most cases 2500 to 3100 rpm's will keep you under 70 temp

you can go as high as freq 480 with a great unit.

most of my 20 pieces like 400,406,412

2 l3+ can earn

  8 A DAY IN LTC
28 A DAY IN DOGE

36 A DAY while it lasts power used about 40kwatts  or 4 bucks at 10 cents. 8 bucks at 20 cents

so 28 to 32 a day is 2800 in 100 days

do not go over freq 412 until you made roi.

I appreciate all the help.  They are at my phone store currently, so will not have time to really experiment with them this weekend but happy so far.  At $36/day, I would ROI in just over a month including the PSU.  Can definitely live with that.  Now if I can score a few more, I will be even happier.  Should of bought more to start with, guy sold like 20 of them at 500-600/each.

So what is everyones input on what will happen tomorrow with Doge during the SNL show with Elon Musk? Seems that Doge is leading the crypto markets this week ever since he announced that he would go on SNL as "The Dogefather".

Every TikToker and Robinhooder is out there expecting at least $1/doge and some even want to see Doge go to $300 a Doge. Yes $300 for a single Doge. Things are getting nuts out there. There are some people posting their Robinhood Crypto screenshots and many are up $100,000 with only $1000 invested and they still haven't taken profit. No idea where this is going to go.

I think we will either go to like $0.95 and dump but if we break $1 then we might go to some crazy amount like $1.33 before going back down. Doge is almost #3 market cap and about to pass BNB. Some people are expecting Doge to surpass the ETH market cap.

crypto is the nuttiest thing.

I used to have 1,000,000 coins of  doge at a cost of 2500 maybe 3000

sold it for about 54-55k. We mined 10000 coins since then and they are worth 6k.

maybe 12k by sunday morning.

truly amazing.



I am simply selling my 2500 coins  share of that each month.

so while I could have made well over 300000 or even 600000 usd. I will settle for the 55k and the 2500 coins each month.

Man ETH mining is still going strong.  I'm wondering if we will see eth/btc at .1 soon.  Either way May has been pretty good from a USD standpoint despite a continued steady jump in difficulty.

For those hunting GPU's you will likely want to take notice of the Nvidia gpu chip number soon.  Looks like Nvidia is going to be shipping 3070/80's with hashing rate limiter technology and the new 3060's will be nerfed for the driver that unlocks that limit now.

So all of you that have good 3000 series cards keep them as they may go up in value.

on this note I have multiple concerns.

I have 2x 3060 cards. they are nerfed and I simply have not bothered to fix it.

They still make money.

I have 2 alienware 3070 pcs that work fully
I have 4 omen 3070 pcs that work fully.

I had to return a dud omen 3070 pc replacement is due in june. if they send me a shit LHR gpu it will be fun.

I have 2x alienware 3060ti on order I do not know if the 3060ti are coming nerfed LHR
I have 1x hp 3060ti on order I do not know if its 3060ti will be nerfed LHR

so i could end up with 1 LHR from 3070 omen
1 3060ti  LHR  from hp

2x 3060ti LHR from alienware

that is not very acceptable

yeah this could turn into a real shit show for miners. as any RMAs could get a nerfed card back. as well as luck of the draw on any new purchases.

personally if they sold the (clearly marked) nurfed cards at anywhere near retail i would be fine with that as i do play games and not having ready access to 3080/90s for my game rig is annoying. sure id mine with it if profitable (why not) but right now im more looking for a gaming card rather than a mining card. i could live with a nerfed 3080 as long as gaming performance is not affected. and the price was reasonable, not scalped to the moon.

so sell clearly marked nerfed cards at close to retail price to gamers, they will eat them up. then sell full on non nerfed cards to miners at whatever the market will bear. that would work for me.

of course these cards are (so far) only nerfed on eth, they mine other algos full tilt. wonder whats gonna happen on that.
