There are also technical reasons pointing to this being a bull market. Among them is that the price of bitcoin moved across its 200 day moving average, the golden cross - the 50 day moving average crossing above the 200 day moving average - and the tendency of bitcoin to move in 2 year cycles.

Whatever you may call it, Bitcoin and altcoins are in a move towards higher price. Bitcoin remained about a year in the 5-7K segment which was the base/lowest price for it and it has actually grown to the base price of 7-7.5K. Even after 2 brief rise and fall, Bitcoin hasn't went below 7K.

I think the market has been bullish since mid-February. I'm not sure why people are asking, it seems quite easy to see by the charts. One question remaining though is whether once BTC growth slows, alts will pick up the slack and increase by a greater percentage than BTC.

This is a very natural scenario and we have already seen this thing happening in 2017 when people started putting in crazy money in Bitcoin due to fear of mission out the opportunity which was a kind of promise of great returns. The price of bitcoin now was more than 12995$ which I could say were already in the road of bull run. That's why I've been thinking in long term in Bitcoin, I know every unexpected things will be happen for bull run, if 20k almost was happened during 2017, I think this time it will make it happen again or more. I believe bitcoin is on a bullish track and might temporarily slow down this 3rd quarter before going up again. Upcoming events like bakkt launching will further push the price up. My take on this price movement - just a normal up and down scenario in the btc market. This is good for btc so we know what will be its real value in the market despite of bottlenecks or struggles it encounters along the way. With these situations, it will make the btc position more solid and more versatile.

The current Bull Run that only happens to bitcoin has not yet happened to altcoin. It might be called a bull run but in my opinion it's not optimal because the market cap value is still less than half the highest market cap value.

The current situation on the crypto market cannot be described as a bullish run. Bitcoin has become so unpredictable and it seems one  cannot easily say we are in a bearish season or not. People are becoming more confused on whether to sell their coins or hold them for s a better returns on their investment.

I strongly agree that the season of bull run is arriving gradually. The level that bitcoin and some other altcoins are now is better than the level they were early this year. The bull run might not have started for all the coins but some coins have gradually been witnessing bull run. We need to look out for coins we can invest into that will bring forth for us the desired profit.
