I have often said that not all ICOs are scams. Because until now I have found a lot of good ICO and the possibility of great success. So, if a lot of people say that ICO scams don't really matter. But it must be remembered that "Not all ICOs are SCAMs"

You are one lucky guy finding a good ICO's, but now is like entering a dark room, so many projects that look good on paper and with the developer are running not all ICO are scams but with the very high percentage, it's useless to invest in ICO anymore.

Definitely agree. Judging ICOs without any basis wasn't good for the market. Because ICO projects are a profitable business for both investors and for the development of the innovation of the projects. Yes, fraudulent actions occurs but they are not only in ICO. Many projects came out with a finished product and brought profit to investors.  You just need to take seriously the choice of the projects like btc, eth and the dencoin, just analyze and check and everything will become great for you future investment.

indeed, not all ICOs are scam, but many of them are not valuable when listing in the market and this causes a lot of losses to investors and I also see most of them just promises and promises or soon soon and soon

You have a point ,2019 have proven that right as I was forced to join few ICOs because of how good and promising they are so I can boldly say that we still have good ICO projects in crypto space

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
You say correctly that not all ICOs have the potential to scam, there is an ICO that benefits investors but only a little currently there is an IEO and STO Of course investors prefer to invest in the IEO or STO than at the ICO

If not 99 percent , let's put it 90 percent for sure and that still big number that will kill crypto industry so it's better to invest with IEO or STO , with this form can have an assurance for the investors since coins sale is on the trading site already.

Maybe you are right the percentage maybe not until 99% but the percentage of people being scammed still high, one of thing that appear in developers mind usually is money, so it's easier to just scammed or purposely abandon the project after they got the money, if the circulation is keep on going like this then no wonder all people think ICO is scam

I agree with you that indeed many ICO projects are scam, and most investors consider that the ICO will continue to pay the same amount even though it is not necessarily the case

I agree with you. Big and promising projects need time to have their credibility in this growing market. Also, one should do his/her due diligence when researching a new project.

Fail of the project doesnt mean scam, you're right. But i agree with the very big percent of scams. Scam is another thing: fake team, fake token sale progress, fake partnerships etc. when team just grabs money and start to ignore everyone in the chat... Fail in fundraising just means a low quality project.

I agree failing ICO's doesn't mean they are scams unless they don't give a refund to the investors. I still believe there are some ICO's out there that their project will be successful, so research the ICO first before you put the money on them.

Even if the percentage of fraudulent projects is 80-90% - it is still very much.

I agree with you. I think that this negative is caused by the fact that people are not ready to wait for a long time, they want to immediately get a big profit.

Actually that's what ICO called a scam. As you say one of them and also the ICO that disappears after the funds from the investor are collected. That is what is guaranteed by the ICO scam. Not the ICO that failed to reach the target, ICO said it was a scam. So here we have understood, if you want to invest in ICO, you really have to do research first.

Indeed, the failure of the ICO project is not a reason to accuse it of fraud because there are many factors that must be taken into account. If we speak of unsuccessful projects in 2018, most of them failed, and after the market falls, now the market is rising and most likely we will see again.

Well, the actual fact is that yeah ICOs can't be 100% condemned but we shouldn't also forget that this was an ICO bubble and hence yeah what happened paved way for better insights into the future. Currently, ICOs are developing better than before. At first you could just create any website and do anything as ICO but currently, even better platforms are finding it very difficult to raise money.

Take your own time and judge based in several factors including teams participation in public channels. See their progress reports. Get word of mouth from multiple channels.
Yes there might still be some good ICOs out there but the thing is that when the overall image of something gets ruined, people simply refrain to invest in such things and same is the case with ICOs. SO yes you should very carefully observe and judge an ICO before investing your money in such projects that are being launched via ICO.

Admitted or not those words already in the investors mindset that ICO's 99% are scam and the bad effect is upcoming ICO's which is offering legit projects will be lack of interest or didn't reach to soft cap because investors thought the projects will scammed them and to restore investors confidence it took many steps to do so and i'm not sure for next several years ICO's still exist

I think that the ICO format will continue to exist for many years, but it will not look the same as it looked a year ago and even how it looks now

Sure the reason why investor has a mind like that because most of the icos are failed and can't keep their promise to the investor. i think it's normal if the investor lost their trust to the ico's.

Many projects continue to evolve and follow the roadmap. just those people who were disappointed in the ICO - chose the wrong projects
