Especially when the evaluation makes the bot/algorithm on the site. And the parameters by which it makes it known only to its creators. Rarely future of the ICO can assess respected analyst. There are also frequent cases of manipulation of user trust by rating platforms; simply put, the rating is bought.
Purchasing ratings on ICO rating sites is what we often see. by paying they can get a high rating for projects that don't have clear products. then manipulation of sales revenue that was successfully received, because there were not many projects that were transparent with funding problems.

99% is not the real ratung but we are giving this because more ICO is scam compared to the legit. There is no percentage what ICO is scam and legit only we give our opinion on what we are thinking. Because it's really to hard to find good ICO so we give that percentage. Im not investor of ICO anymore because what I've experienced and I don't know when Im going to back.

Assess based on what is seen and what is experienced personally, so you can provide such percentages.

The ICO is currently notoriously bad, but that does not mean that all ICO projects will be bad and no longer feasible.
maybe if we still want to find the project in detail about it, maybe we can produce it, but now it's very difficult to find a really good project.

It is impossible to predict how an ICO will turn out by its massive advertisement. I once invested in an ICO, all I was thinking about was success because of how popular the ICO was. But after investing, so many months have passed and its almost a year BH the price has fallen drastically. I'm even wondering if it will rise up again.

Its too bad that many of ICO turned out to be a scam like that. So the best we can do if we want to join the ICO is we have to scan thoroughly about the paper and don’t make a judgement just because the ICO has a massive advertisement.

I can not give an opinion about the accuracy of these statistics. But we can not say that all ICOs are scam. Personally, I saw several projects lately that have reached hardcap and was getting close to it.
It is pretty evident that ICO had been pretty dubious back in 2017. The human nature cannot be changed and they have lost their trust in ICOs and regardless of the statistics, they would not really think about investing again in ICO. I think there is no reason in reasoning about this topic because the good project attracts people without any advertisements etc.

I have seen many successful ico but when the product launches the price of tokens on the market is getting cheaper and in my opinion this is not a fraud but indeed no one is interested in their products and there are also those that are not successful but are in great demand when listing
so don't ever assume that all ico will end up scam

This thing speed likes. Any analysis should be pragmatic and accurate, and if you look at everything only from the side of pessimism, you will get little.

Those people here who said that all ico are scams are the one who didn't get profit here. Or sometimes they maybe impatience and got too emotional when they are in the actual field of trading where in the end they've loss their coins and cried out home. But for me comparing last year 2018 so far the ico now are much, much more better and good in fairness. This is based on what I had observed every time I checked the new ico project here in the forum.

ICO projects worked very well for only one year. After that, the market began to fall and most of the projects could not get out of this pit. They had to deceive a lot of people. But they didn't plan to do that. I believe that there are still good projects.

In my opinion, most ICO projects cannot keep their promises. They promise a lot about product development and will soon get MVP certification and then pump the token price, but 10 projects will only have 1 project to do it. the remainder will bring money to spend in a wasteful way or not as planned.
therefore investment in ICO projects has a very high risk.

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
OP just wrote like one who is new to the ICO stuff. If they actually participated during the 2017 crypto boom I don't think the OP would be sounding this optimistic seeing what investors went through in the hands of developers and their teams. Even till this very moment, most ICOs still maintain that scam modus operandi. We just have to be very careful or completely stay away from ICOs until regulations set into that area.

What are you talking about? Many projects that have carried out their ICO more than a year ago are still working. When the market falls along with it, the price of everything falls almost without exception.

I am still of the opinion that finding a very good ICO investment at this time is like looking for a pin in a haystack, it may not necessarily be that the developers intend to scam but they are befallen with the same investors mindset that ICO's hardly succeed, so it would be difficult raising their softcap much more the hardcap, so they are handicapped and do not have enough fund to continue the project, a lot of things like listing in exchanges, paying advisors and other promotions are all capital intensive and goes a long way to strain the project. It it were when hardcap is not difficult to raise a lot would have worked smoothly
ICO is not bad as long as it is a good ICO which means that you could get return of what you invest in the ICO. Normally the trust over ICO is considered dead but there might be few ICOs out there which would be trying hard to restore things. Anyways, gone are the days of ICOs and we should rather focus on IEOs to promote it and make sure the matters related to fundraising stay good.

Agree the prices will depend upon the traders when they start listing in the beginning but after some time they need to prove themselves for releasing updates what they mentioned in the roadmap and this makes many people lose their hope on the project and start selling them in the market for cheap prices. We have to blame the Ico projects team.

I think this is a matter of decision. Its always up to the users if how they will asses an ICO. For me I search the ICO from its end to end load. From its team, content, social sites and many more. If the first one failed already then even they have a good anf interesting project then its all go down to be a scam project. Always make sure the team are as they say they are. Its so easy to hire professional to do techie stuff but representing a project and become a CEO is a big deal. Transparency is always seek by mist investors so if the team is not legit then forget the ICO.

i think you are right in the sense that not all ICOs are scams and i also believe the reason why  many crypto enthusiasts have come to this conclusion is because of the huge fall of ICOs since 2017 till now. But i know of some other projects that are still doing great.

maybe its a hard to accept that most ico's are being treat well at first, because most investors are trying to make a very promising profit and the team also want that success but not all the time they are loyal to their own project because the fact that they also hunting another project to jump-in.

Yes, there are many good projects in the market are still giving updates about their progress even after the huge downfall in the market. There are many fake projects once after the crowdsale they will not give any updates about the progress of their development. Sometimes it is impossible to find the project which will be active even after the crowd sales.
