Believe me, almost all cryptocurrency at the moment is a scam. All exchanges draw volumes, prices rise and fall for some reason. Projects appear and disappear. Everyone wants to make money here and now.

let's just say this is gambling, because ico is investor confidence.
we should be part of it and support real projects.
not all ico scams, there are still those who focus on the product and the future.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

yeah most of people said "scam" before read their informations/news update. most of ICOs failed to reach their sale because of lack of investments, so maybe they cancel their ICO. they have high rivalry with other ICO. they were not totally scam us and run away with investor money. most of them did a refund if they cancel their ICO.

I really disagree if someone says that all ICOs are scams. In fact, we cannot say that all ICOs are scam. For example, Bcnex, ICO, they have a very good journey. Therefore I do not agree if all ico scam. Because there are still good ICO like Bcnex.

no all ICO's bad now.we still have several good ICO projects, and maybe BCNEX be one of them.people just generalize this case and thinking all projects SCAM.we have to more observation before we take take conclusion about it.

generalizing each case in ICO will not help us to attach new opportunity.i am still believed in ICO we still could earn money.but it depend to our self , will we doing extra effort to find this.i am not sure we will find it if we didn't spend much time to obersve.

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.

Although we are all looking differently in an ICO, we cant chamge the fact that there are really numerous projects who exists just to scam people. I cant deny there are ICOs who really work hard but end up bankrupt because maybe people thought it is scam too. If youre trying to risk some money on new projects, dont expect its legit.

Believe me, almost all cryptocurrency at the moment is a scam.
you can offcially call it a scam if the coin has no market value or if its not listed but coins that has some value and can still be traded is not consider a scam .

All exchanges draw volumes, prices rise and fall for some reason.
its normal for an exchange to have a volume because people trade but if the volume is abnormal then the exchange is shady af .

Do you really know the percentage and the real story? if the project is good it's volume will not go down to zero if the project is legit the developers will find a way to gain support from the community, but so many ICO after getting funded is not doing anything more to attract more buyers and support.

These are obvious things. Since 2016, nothing has changed. You do not invest in all projects in a row, no. Because not every project will make a profit, the same is true for the ICO and for the IEO. People finally understood that only the most worthy projects bring profit.

Personally, it will be hard to hold coin for a year, there were lots of things to be happened and in my experience most of the alts that last over a year were not successful in terms of the price. I observed that the price of a coin will be at peak couple of months after the sale once it drops do not expect that it will recover anymore.

Despite the fact that ico is a fraud, that does not mean that all ico projects are not feasible for us to follow, I'm sure there are still ico that are worth following. on the other hand every day ico always grows and there are still many who need this. so don't ever say that all ico are fraudulent.
although there are some bad ICOs but not all ICOs are the same and not all bad.
maybe the ICO will grow and change for the better so don't give up and don't assume that it can't be used anymore.
to follow it we must be more vigilant and we learn and explore which one to choose.

There will be no chance that it is 100% scam, there will be an ICO out there that are promising and making some real development on their project with a real Road Map. however this kind of ICO is mostly don't have a support from investors because Investors are most likely invested now on IEO and some other investment method because the rate on ICO scam are dramatically higher.

yes most of them might be con artists but I don't think that all ico are the same. Maybe there are still some who have potential in the crypto industry, but we only need to take the time to do research first, usually the ico project that has potential in the market is to have further development, ico that has quality products, and also an experienced or transparent team .

maybe there are some ico that still have the potential to be good, but the reputation of ico because of the scam makes many people more aware of ico. ico might be good if the scam doesn't come again in ico

Of course, 99% of projects are not scammers. But if you look at payments to bounty hunters, then 80% of the projects do not pay a reward. And in this case, such projects are scammers.

Yeah, I fully agree to this. Many ICOs aren't really a scam. however, because an ico couldn't reach a hard cap (probably because of low marketing efforts, people suddenly conclude that such ICO is a scam. since 2016, I have come across good projects that didn't succeed because they couldn't reach a soft cap. I have also come across scam projects would succeed and boom before revealing their true color. an example is bitconnect, a ponzi scam which ran away with people's money.

In essence, suddenly concluding that a project is a scam without any clear proof to justify such accusations is bad. It's beyond a reasonable doubt that some projects where indeed create to scam users. but that does not mean all projects are the same. Special attention should be given to bounty hunters who have become automatic "scam meters" of projects. because an ICO didn't pay the bounty hunters early, they refer to these bounties as being a scam. However, need I remind you that many projects hardly reach hard cap nowadays, because of that, it is hard for them to actually pay bounties in full.

I think it would benefit us all to stop seeing all projects as a scam and start searching for the good ones.

This is the problem most of the time in the community here in the forum, they judged faster even without any enough basis in it.
Yes it is true that most of the scam project appeared was came from the ico, but this doesn't mean all ico are scam, of course not.
We should check first before we say something about it.

yes actually we have to be aware of that, that we are in a global forum and many projects are popping up, new users, and negative rumors without evidence are always around us. My advice is not to believe everything before we examine it ourselves, because I believe that among them there is still something legitimate for us to follow.
