I subscribe that GOLD is not listed on the best exchanges out there, but still they are a great addition to the direct marketplace offered on their website. I think this project mostly needs awareness and listing on many exchanges where the Digital Gold team is providing liquidity on is just a big PLUS for me. Bitforex should attract more eyeballs on the asset and also provide the company with more profits from creating liquidity, thus creating a healthy ecosystem for the GOLD token.

You cropped/misunderstood the question. I know each token is supposed to represent 1g of gold, that's my point about liquidity provision.
Liquidity provision is easy with non linked tokens but, say there is a large sell order with no buyers, are GOLD going to absorb that selling and its cost themselves?

All these exchanges you mentioned were already known, so it has to be some other exchanges.

The answer I gave, based on a visit to their website and a quick search, was a list of the four exchanges they refer to here

We listed GOLD on four exchanges already

and Bitforex will make five.

Digital Gold is a liquidity provider for the GOLD token on actually listed exchanges which are accepted by the team and additionally they provide Marketplace where you can buy or sell GOLD tokens 24/7.

According to exchanges question, as you see the announcement about the listing is really new and all exchanges you mentioned above were on the Digital Gold website from some time.

Digital Gold was already listed on 3 or 4 exchanges and yesterday added another four, but they didn't mention which once.

Of course, that listing only on a couple of big and established exchanges is better as much smaller once but this is impossible to achieve, especially for such a new project.

First, you have to have enough volumes and liquidity on these smaller exchanges to convince bigger once to spend the time and effort to list the token.

Remember this costs a lot of time and money to maintain such a token on an exchange, so they have to have a lot of buying and selling to earn enough on fees to be willing to do this.

The exchange which the token was listed is not among top exchange site and the Gold team have once vows to list their token on top exchange which they have keep their promises due to their honesty. Aren't you the one that once said scam project operate in diverse ways and if the team proof their honesty and seriousness by getting the token listed on top exchange site I don't see something bad in it.

Indeed if you start to think about it then Marketplace could be enough but every additional exchange means more liquidity for the token and less hassle for the team.

Many people will use exchanges to trade or just wallets to send the GOLD token. This is the beauty of cryptocurrencies and digitalized assets.

Now when you compare holding real gold and how much hassle it is, additionally real gold and provides no other possibilities, only problems. You can't sell it right away online, you can't send it, you can't pay with it, you can't trade it on exchanges, you have to store it, secure it and I can continue like this until the end of the page.

Now think that with the GOLD token you can do all the things above and additionally have all benefits as when holding real gold. This is really the beauty of this project.

You're right cause you and I both understand how active the marketplace works but some people in the crypto community will still feel skeptical toward the project honest level and the only way to come clean and provide more investment trust is to be listed on an exchange site.

Then there is no problem at all. If somebody wants to have a brick of gold at home is free to do so and for such people, the GOLD token even could not exist.

But we are talking here about cryptocurrency and blockchain supporters who want to benefit from holding gold but don't want to store or secure it when additionally token provides possibilities like transfers, payments, and easy liquidation. I think that are obvious benefits of the GOLD token that physical gold just can not deliver.
