I needed some ETH today and also thought to use an exchange, but the marketplace for the GOLD token is just such a convenient, fast and easy way to do this, so I just stick to it.

If the Livecoin exchange is no longer used and there is no volume in it, I would rather recommend the DIGITAL GOLD TOKEN be removed from livecoin.

I think some people prefer using the traditional exchanges where they can place buy and sell orders at a certain price. Something that is not possible with the Gold.storage marketplace. I guess the only exchange with a bigger trading volume at the moment is bitfforex

This shows how reliable the Gold team is cause ever since i have joined crypto investment no project team has treated their coin/token holder or investors this way but it will be better if the team could exclude the exchange on there while they also list all the exchange site where Gold token can be traded on their ANN thread to avoid more issue like this in future.

After this case is resolved completely, the GOLD team should make a re-announcement or re-reminder about the partnership between Livecoin exchange and GOLD token to avoid any incovenience for customers and losses maybe. Some people are off for a long period and don't update newest changes on the GOLD platform and its partnerships.

The point is people tend to prefer to use exchanges with more available trading pairs and more cryptocurrency listed and supported. They can quickly switch from one to another, more convenient for their investment and trading activities.

I read the interview with Gold advisor (Dr. Walter Tonetto) and it was awesome. However, it good to know that central bank digital currency will be a great opportunity for genuine stablecoins especially the precious metal backed projects.

 With that been said, i can see that Gold stablecoin is doing well in the market today with +2.71% despite the -1.17% change yesterday.

Even though they have their own exchange, they manage to sustain its value according to the gold market. But how are they generating income here? If they have their gold holdings along with their tokens, how are they maintaining their operations?

Love when I see feedbacks like this as right from the onset I have always had a feeling this project will make an impact in the crypto space most especially the stablecoin industry as most out their are just piece of shit without any real backing like the real world fiat only valuable because the government's says so.

Just wanted to correct you on your "the Goldstablecoin community don't need exchange" view. There are more to an exchange then just the buying and selling of assets. It also provide exposure, promoting and liquidity to a large number of audiences. Sure a project can be superb but without good marketing the project is likely to die off as shit projects with excellent marketing is likely to overshadow the excellent ones. Nevertheless, GoldSC is doing quite great and I'm very optimistic in the nearest future more great news and exchange listing will be announced.

PS: Congratulations @GOLD_official on ranking up, although it won't make much difference wearing your signature since all your contributions are on your thread that already has your ads still it'll be a fun experience and you can use the opportunity to contribute to other thread on the forum as well promote your project. Some people prefer using an ordinary exchange set up where one is able to place a bid at $50 in the orderbook and then once the order is filled, they can then place an ask for lets say $55 for profit. This is not possible with an instant exchange such as gold.storage Marketplace.

I however commend the availability of the market place. it enables instant and hassle free exchange of assets. I think both options are necessary for different types of traders.

Thanks for answering my question. I do agree that you will generate income from the floating spread alone just like any other crypto exchanges. This strategy is very common upon using your local crypto exchange, the bitcoin price is way below than the global market price so that's how these local crypto exchanges can easily gain profit. However, in your case, I think it's not that much of a spread because we are talking the price of gold. But in any case, I'm glad that you sustain your operations and one of the solid gold-backed projects here.
