Coinmarketcap and CoinGecko show exchanges with a volume and trading actiivity. 4 other exchanges on which we are listed recently are inactive, including other tokens. You can check this with any other token and any other small exchange. If the trading volumes of this token on this exchange are small, they disappear from CoinGecko and Coinmarketcap. If the trading volume of our token increases after some time the token will fall into the list of CoinGeko and Coinmarketcap.

How about Gold Storage Marketplace? It's also an exchange (well for GOLD Token and BT  and ETH, right?
Is it possible to include it on coinmarketcap and coingecko among the Markets for Gold Token?

I prefer using the marketplace but theres no way coinmarketcap abd coingecko will add the project marketplace as an exchange despite the ease to use part of it and what they can do is add the function of the marketplace in "About Digital Gold" area through the request of the project team.

I was suggesting it so that it's easier to track the daily volume trade of the GOLD Token since most of the exchanging is done in the marketplace.

Maybe we should have a few stats next to the price information in the marketpace, like
- 24 hour volume of the Gold Token
- 24 hour high and low of the Gold Price

Actually, what I really like about stable GOLD coin is about being backed by physical gold. I already explain in my own my threads here* what exactly "backed by gold" means. Meaning if you invest on the project and buy some gold tokens, you actually bought some physical golds and you don't need to be worry about the price. Because, gold is the safe haven. Almost one of the best investing options for long-term investment.

After 2008 and the boom in gold upto 2011, many did consider the problem and therefore the reasoning to hold gold as over.   However thats not true while we have ongoing QE programs and former FED chiefs have stated we can never go home again, we can never reverse the debt accumulation and QE.    So the monetary base is expanded and changed forever and unfortunately because we got away with it once we are continually repeating the mistake and over spending and most countries also running continual trade deficits.    All that might be ok and even justified in extreme times such as this virus effect but long term in the boring every day business there is no way it can last and defy gravity.  
   The almost certain result is the gold price rises over decade time frames, though gold fell back quite badly from 2011 onwards it has been in recovery since about 2016.  Right now I rate gold very highly and so my interest in this project is high and every viable  investment asset related to gold net buying by central banks, nations and even ordinary people in the end will require gold to retain value towards their savings which all of us naturally require in our lives.

There are terrible misconceptions on QE and similar methods from national goverments, globally. People say and believe such things can help the economy but they are totally wrong. Such things, in reality have some short term boost for economy but in the long period, it is a kind of hidden inflation from governments and central banks. With QEs and similar stuffs, the world has lived and depended upon higher and higher leverages as well as inflations. All of them, in turn, result in higher risks for global economy. Fortunately, it is a good thing for safe asset, like Gold, then Bitcoin.

  The almost certain result is the gold price rises over decade time frames, though gold fell back quite badly from 2011 onwards it has been in recovery since about 2016.  Right now I rate gold very highly and so my interest in this project is high and every viable  investment asset related to gold net buying by central banks, nations and even ordinary people in the end will require gold to retain value towards their savings which all of us naturally require in our lives.

I believe Gold will have another 4 year of growths with some hiccups along the journey. Not only because of the virus, the pandemic, but also because of the recently responses from many national central banks: print more money and create higher inflation.

I just made a discovery today. They actually can add the marketplace on the section of exchanges. I have a seen a couple of altcoins with marketplaces getting added on coinmarketcap  thou I am not sure about the process of adding the exchanges/marketplaces there.

The biggest challenge is probably GOLD Token's market place doesn't show stats like 24 hour trade volume yet so ranking it would be hard

With the knowledge of the project teams making that happen shouldn't be problem but there are something i think the team to consider before taking such steps. An example is the currently pandemic and making of physical campaign but there's a chance that KYC maybe involve cause most of crypto related project that offers such aids  implemented KYC.

Good to see that the Digital Gold team is pushing the project further with amazing speed. Only on the last two pages of this thread, I have seen so many updates about new developments, integrations, future plans and is really nice to watch such dynamic progress.

TBH I thought that the GOLD token will be a stable coin and there is not much more that can be done. Now I see that I was very wrong and the team has indeed a lot of great ideas for further development. Only the last announcement about the possibility to add solutions for merchants is a big step forward and will add another use case for the GOLD token.

Coinmarketcap listing and to add the marketplace there is the right choice because this is free advertising on one of the biggest crypto websites and many projects/exchanges are well known only because of Coinmarketcap. Of course, it could change soon because Binance bought CMC some time ago and that is why it is important to do this ASAP.
