It seems that many thought Barcelona would win against Galartasary for playing at home. However, the score ended goalless from both teams.
In possession, Barcelona are far superior to Galatasary and it must be admitted that in defense Galatasary was very good and also goalkeeper Inaki Pena, made a lot of really good saves to keep the draw.
A 0-0 result in the first leg is not a good result because in the second leg both will fight hard to win in order to qualify for the quarter-finals, and the match will be much more interesting and full of drama.

I won't be quick to judge Barcelona any more the lads are trying and has really had busy week this period. They played there best and came out with a draw. There is still a second leg and I see Barcelona as my favourite to move to the next round. This competition is one Barcelona has never won, and this is there chance at Winning it.

The previous game ahead Fi this fixture was meant to be a draw as well but they fought food and achieved the win.
A single goal was all I wanted and they couldn't help, I don't have to say I'll words for not winning but this would have been the best chance if winning this game.

To be honest, I'm not surprised. Have you taken a look at the Barcelona starting lineup against Galatasaray? If you check it closely, you will find out that there are some key players who always contribute in goals are put on the bench. Aubameyang, Dembele, De Jong, Busquet are on the bench, this should decrease Barcelona power in attacking. I don't know why Xavi rested these important players on the bench, I didn't hear an issue they have a problem with their health. Barcelona were unlucky I think they played well and did a lot of attacks but Galatasaray defense was very good indeed to stem it all, Leg 2 will be played at home to Galatasaray but in my opinion if they keep playing defensively it is very unlikely that they can beat Barcelona.
I'm sure in the second leg there will be a new tactic that Xavi, the Barcelona coach, will use to open up the defense from Galatasary, I think Barcelona chances of qualifying are still very big.

It seems that playing at home is very much wanted to be maximized well by Barcelona if you look at the lineup that is currently being fielded by Xavi.
4-3-3 with Depay, Ferran and Adama being the focus I think is still quite good now although I would have liked to have seen Aubameyang in the line-up now but this is still a pretty good thing with the offensive scheme they are going to do.
