I assume that Barcelona were aiming to have a victory against Frankfurt last night. And they could have done it too especially after the red card. But Frankfurt still managed to secure a draw by 1-1. The first half was really bad for Barcelona. Frankfurt had a big dominance against them. In the second half, things started to be better for Barcelona. Even though Frankfurt scored quickly in this half, they weren't too late to score the equalizer. But I still didn't like Barcelona's performance in general. They need to do better in the second leg to be able to eliminate their opponent.

To be truthful, the first leg Europa semi final really surprised everyone, only Braga won Rangers 1 goals to nothing, this does not even mean Braga would qualify, the remaining matches ended 1 goals to 1 which means draw, even Atalanta and Barcelona that we all thought would win did not win, it was not home match for Atalanta and Barcelona, which still gives the possibility that both clubs will qualify for semi final.

A clean tackle was blown as a penalty but with the help of VAR it was cancelled, also saw a red card in the game, for an offensive tackle on Pedri.

Thats the main objective wasnt it, to win and score as many goals as possible as the away team but getting a draw with 1 goal scored is already an advantage as the away team. The Barca players were complaining a lot towards the referee yesterday but i don't think that the ref did a bad job today, i just think that the Barca players were pretty unhappy about how the whole game went down. They probably did not expect Frankfurt to be that strong i guess and i think that Barca can be very happy with the end result of 1-1.
