Europa league was full of surprises this season who wouldve thought that frankfurt would win it the final was as close as it could get first half frankfurt was better and in the extra time rangers almost snatched the win, frankfurt team need improvements they have some good players but they need a strong bench as well so they can have better results on the bundesliga and champions league next season.

Lyon, Monaco, Napoli, Leicester, A galatasaray team that sucked in domestic league but didn't lose a single game until Barcelona last game, Barcelona!, Leverkusen, West Ham, Porto, Sevilla, Leipzig, Atalanta. All of these teams ended up losing and the finals were between Frankfurt and Rangers.

This should be something that we all be shocked about. I do not know what could be the best thing about the current situation, if the fact that underdogs and not so great teams could have hopes thanks to this year and hope that they could beat the bigger names, but it could also mean that maybe big teams are no longer caring about europa which could be a trouble.

It was a really nice finale but not as exciting as I expected. Because there wasn't a high level of competition between E. Frankfurt and Rangers in the first ninety minutes of the game. Rangers performed poorer than I expected to see. When we think that they have come a long way by a great effort, I would have waited for them to compete better. E. Frankfurt were the better side until extra time. Rangers newly woke up in extra time and played decently. But the winner was still decided by penalties. Congratulations to E. Frankfurt for winning the title!

I don't think so. In fact, this match was quite exciting and there were a lot of buying and selling of attacks in this match, even Trapp and McCregor had to go up and down to save their goal from attacks for both Rangers and Frankfurt.

I think it's for the best when the score is without a goal in 90 minutes and 30 minutes of extra time I still feel that they are playing safe but they are both strong in their defense because if you look at the chances that both teams have it is clear they have a lot of chances to score a goal

Right from the beginning I already knew Frankfurt will win against rangers,  Frankfurt performance has changed to good compare to before.  If they were able to win against Barcelona,  then it won't be hard for them to win rangers, though during the beginning of the  first half rangers played them tough game.

Everyone around the globe are indeed betting on frankfurt to come as a winner and they did it.

But with the first goal in the final scored by rangers ... that is something that nobody expected to see , fortunately frankfurt responded it quickly 12 minutes later.

The match could have gone either way. When shooting penalties, you know it's always a lottery. I don't remember for whom, but in extra time there were still great opportunities for a team. If that ball had gone in, the game was over. It certainly wasn't an unattractive match. Certainly after rest enough effort and willpower seen.

With the big teams in the Champions League next season, Frankfurt will find it difficult to survive there though the management can use their fund to bring in good players that will boost their team spirit and performance with that, they can make it in the group stage or proberbly the knockout stage depending on their performance.

Very close match indeed, both teams played really well, was an exciting final match. After beating West Ham I thought that Eintracht Frankfurt would win the finals for sure. It was disappointing to see the game go into over time because I bet on a win in regular play time. I thought about making another live bet during OT as Frankfurt was the stronger team. But once it goes into penalty shoot out everything can happen, it's like a coin flip. Overall the Europe league this season was not a good run for me, I lost money. It was too many under dogs winning. Still happy for Eintracht though, the party afterwatds was insane.

I expect them to make some necessary changes in their squad and continue the good work that they have done in the Europa League. I would not say that the fact that Frankfurt won this competition is so much a miracle or a fairy tale.
First of all, it is a reputable German club that has already achieved great success in the past, such as winning the UEFA Cup.

I think this is actually good and this is a very good sign for football. I say it is a good sign because this means almost every team has a chance to prove themselves and do well. And these European competitions give them those chances.

Yes, if the target is to be in the top four of the Bundesliga it is still possible, because in the Bundesliga there are only two very dominant teams like Bayern Munich and Dortmund. That leaves Frankfurt with a chance to be third or fourth, but expecting to win the title is like a tough hope. Indeed, it never hurts to have high expectations but we can consider it in a more realistic way.
