Atalanta-PSG looks like a 5+ goals game, I'm really looking forward to that one.

I don't think not easy to be 5+ goals in this match. 4 goals maybe happens but no for more. The possible goals in this match is max 4 goals with 2-2 or 3-1/1-3 scores.

I am sure that even if it is playing away for PSG they will win.

From experience and quality, yes PSG can win the game, but Atalanta also have good defense, in Italy they are just lose in 6 games.

Test results just came back. Besides Angel Correa and Sime Vrsaljko everyone else tested negative today. So it looks like the match vs Leipzig can happen as planned on Thursday.

I wonder if they will test the whole team again this week. Maybe someone got infected where the incubation period wasn't over so the test was still negative today (if that is even possible, I am not an expert?). That's why we usually have the 2-weeks quarantine for everyone who had contact to a positive-tested person. But it seems in this case different rules apply?

Real were embarrassing, was Varane high? Never seen him play so badly, he gifted City both goals. I guess it shows how important Ramos is, they literally fell apart at the back without him. City have effectively got a pass into the semi finals now. Lyon finished 7th in France, I know they have some talent but they’re not great.

At the back of my mind I always have this nagging feeling something's not quite right when this type of incident happens BUT I've played football for a long time and I've been guilty of the most incredible errors of judgments I never care to remember -- which of course explains why some of us are lowlife while others are actual professionals;)

It may be little sooner but here are my picks for remaining Champions League fun:

Juventus vs Lyon (draw. maybe 1-1 or 2-2)
Man City vs Real Madrid (easy win for Man City)
Bayern vs Chelsea (draw or win for Bayern)
Barcelona vs Napoli (win for Barcelona)

Quarter Finalists (teams I expect to win in bold):

So I accurately predicted the quarter-finalists. Some amazing matches were played in Round of 16. Among quarter-finalists, we have:
2 Spanish sides
2 German sides
2 French sides
1 Italian side
and One Team from so-called the best league in the world

This shows how overrated Premier League is. For me, the quality of football is higher in La Liga while the level of competition is higher in Serie A when compared to PL.

Now talking about Quarters,

First Game: I was sure about Atalanta's win till few days ago but now story looks different. The main reason of Atalanta's overwhelming performance was the Deadly Trio of Gomez, Zapata and Ilicic. But due to some undisclosed personal reasons, Ilicic left the Atalanta squad. Him leaving Atalanta's squad is more significant than Mbappe's unavailability for PSG in my opinion. Now I think PSG can win this one. My Prediction: 3-1 in favor of PSG.

Second Game: Atletico will be without their important player Correa due to Coronavirus. He has played all CL games for AM so far this season. However, Leipzig failed to impress post-lockdown, not to forget they are without Timo Werner. In nutshell, easy win for Atletico Madrid.

Third Game: Oh my god! What a game it would be. This is seriously a final material. They are meeting too soon in competition, that's unfair. FC Bayern are clear favorites. But it's Barcelona we are talking about, it's Lionel Messi we are talking about. This one could do some serious damage to bookies as I can see odds are as high are 3.8 on Barcelona. Although they played awful post-lockdown in league but last La Liga game plus pre-quarterfinal were good performances. Other than Messi, Semedo, Lenglet, Rakitic and Frenkie De Jong gave good performances too. Especially Semedo, who made some excellent sprints. It will be 1v1 clash between him and Davies, let see who wins the war of speed. I am routing for Barcelona (more of an emotional decision than the factual) but this can happen very much.

Fourth Game: It's easy, Manchester City. Lyon were lucky to get away from Juventus. Goal advantage at home, lucky away penalty goal and sheer will in defense made them go-past Juve. But Man City are not Juventus. They are City, they are KDB, Sterling, Jesus and who not. Even Man City bench looks more cheerful than Lyon's starting XI. I expect easy win for Man City, they can't lose focus this time.

I am going big with above picks on sportsbooks. Let see how fruitful it going to be.

I think the disadvantage PSG has in that game is the lack of conditioning which we have seen as not a big problem for them. In Italy they played rest of the league while in France they cancelled the season, which is interesting when you think about the fact that France didn't had it as worse as Italy on the peak, but that was the case anyway. So, atalanta will be in peak form and will play with 100% but PSG is such a great team that even at 50% they are better team.

However, when they move further and if they beat atalanta and face another team they will have even harder and harder task to beat their opponents but also get better conditioning as well. I agree with you, I like Atalanta and what they have done so far, but I don't think they will have enough composure and concentration to beat PSG. I this match their defense, weakest part of the team, will be under a lot more pressure then what they are used too. Atalanta will play offensive, only thing they know how to do, but it will cost them in this match.

If we consider the quality players, then surely PSG will be superior. But sometimes quality players doesn't guarantee the winning on the match. If Atlanta can play as a team with their best, they can have a chance to win. There is no impossible thing in a football match as long as the team wants to do hard work against a bigger team.

City are favourites to win the CL, I have a feeling for Bayern though, they just look a really well balanced unit. I would say PSG could go far but Mbappe suffered a bad injury on the weekend.

Yeag Mbappe is out for 3 weeks to recover his ankle ligament injury. This could miss him the championship games if team could make it to that day. This is a chance and opportunity for him to keep up with a good record of goals in his previous matches. Anyway, still the team got some good players. Hopefully that it will not be lthat ong before Mbappe recovers his leg injury. I am having a high hopes in this team that could win in a championship match.

I couldn't agree more, the PL has been more about the money and the level of exposure...That tends to be also evident when you see the likes of Everton, West Ham or their usually 6-9th rated team perform in the Europa League, they are always under-performing even against teams from lower tier leagues. However, I feel both Guardiola and Klopp have sure raised the standards over the past few years.
