Villarreal has showed that they deserve to be here in the champions league and at this stage, the scoreline definitely unexpected especially at halftime. I'd say that's especially good especially for Emery the manager of Villarreal whose tactics in the game has worked very well in the first 45.

The bookmakers didn't give much credit to Villarreal to do what they have done to Liverpool. Villarreal are not one of the top teams in the la Liga this season. What an incredible performance by Villarreal in the first half really! They didn't even let Liverpool play properly during the whole half and they are already 2-0 ahead too. Villarreal are quite simply playing Liverpool out of the park tonight. They have been outstanding in the first half. Even if we are a villarreal fan the day of course will bet for liverpool win, even though liverpool will play at away to villareal today I think they have an 80% chance of winning the second leg and qualfy for final, playing at the opponent home has no difference at all for liverpool, consistent , squad depth, experience and Liverpool performance is still much better than villareal and of course no one doubts that..!

Perhaps today Liverpool will not be as persistent in attack as it often happens, but Villarreal will not sit in defense either, because there is simply no point in this, they need a victory. And this gives us the chance to see goals from both teams, and perhaps more open and interesting football. But Villarreal has almost no chance of reaching the final.

In my opinion, Liverpool will play as natural what they usually play. I think there is no problem if they play attacking mind because they have enough players to score against Villarreal. It seems we all underestimated villareal today and to be honest I didn't even think that in the first half villareal managed to surprise liverpool with a quick goal in the 3rd minute and closed the win in the first half with a second goal in the 41st minute, Liverpool experience and performance is really true not visible compared to the hard work that the villareal players did in the first half, to be honest I thought today liverpool would dominate the match but instead villareal showed their true strength in suppressing liverpool, even Mane and Salah couldn't do much in creating chances to create goals due to tight guard by villareal players.

The result of the match Villarreal vs Liverpool in the meantime really surprised me, I didn't expect Villarreal to play so well in the first half.
Moreover, now the aggregate is the same, of course this will put a lot of pressure on Liverpool players. Match statistics also show Villarreal
playing more dominantly, and surprisingly enough for 45 minutes Liverpool were not able to kick the ball towards any goal. I don't see Liverpool

Its been exciting to see the two sides play other. I didn't expect Villarreal to be this determined, their position in la Liga is nothing in the champions league. The game is even, both teams are fighting for possession of the midfield. Nothing is threatening going forward just yet. It's really hard to believe that Villarreal can score 2 goals without a reply against Liverpool. Well, even though things can still change but what Villarreal has done is quite incredible. I think, Liverpool will not just stand still, but they need an improvement, because if they still played like in the first half then Villarreal could be the ones to score again.
